Fifteenth people's police at or above the first level of police inspector can be promoted in advance within the range of post grades according to their ability and political integrity and work performance.
Article 16 If the people's police are promoted below the minimum police rank of the new post, they will be promoted to the minimum police rank of the new post.
Article 17 A superintendent is promoted to a police inspector, and a police inspector is promoted to a police commissioner. Only after passing the training in the corresponding people's police colleges can they be promoted.
Article 18 The provisions of Article 13 shall apply to the examination and approval authority for the promotion of police ranks. The promotion of superintendents and police officers in advance must be approved by the director of the Political Department of the Ministry of Public Security.
