Jinan University Jinan is the political center of Shandong, as well as the center of economy, culture and transportation. There are a series of undergraduate and junior colleges, such as Shandong University and Shandong Normal University, which are the key universities of the 985 Project and the 21KLOC-0 Project of the Ministry of Education, and deliver a large number of talents to the country every year. There are 44 colleges and universities in Jinan, and the cultural atmosphere is extremely rich. There must be a bookstore within three to five steps, with rich varieties and reasonable prices. In recent years, with the expansion of the enrollment scale of colleges and universities, the scale of urban colleges and universities is far from being able to accommodate a large number of overseas students. Since around 2000, colleges and universities have begun to expand their campuses, and Changqing University Town and Zhangqiu University Town have been built so far.
