How to take good care of new employees
First, safety education.

A large number of new employees who just entered the working class even came from schools, which caused a key problem-lack of close-up real understanding of the work site, resulting in weak ability to predict the situation on the spot, unable to respond flexibly to various emergencies, and easy to cause injuries. Therefore, in the period when new employees have not yet obtained their employment certificates, they can be instilled with some on-site conditions in advance to minimize the accident rate. At the same time, some basic safety knowledge training will be conducted to lay a good foundation for the formation of new employees' safety awareness.

Second, the process training

After laying a good safety foundation, there is still a problem of lack of maintenance knowledge. In view of this situation, Han Bin, a team technical teacher, trained them on the related knowledge of technological process. Let new employees have a certain understanding of the train maintenance process and distribution of stations. Relying on these relatively vague knowledge and combining with the actual situation on site can help them integrate and absorb new and old situations and speed up the efficiency of getting started.

Third, professional knowledge literacy.

"What is a torque wrench?" "What do M6 and M8 bolts mean?" "What are the grid rows, Glenn heads and pipe joints like?" These questions were the most common when I first entered the company. Due to the problems of professional counterparts, lack of professional knowledge, and large terminology cognitive errors, new employees are inevitably suspected of memorizing when learning technology. Anticipating the occurrence of this situation, Wang Baizhan, a workshop materials engineer, took taking pictures in kind as an example to dispel the confusion of new employees on this issue, so that they can clearly and intuitively understand the appearance, performance and function of various tools and materials, so as to absorb what they have learned better and faster, and no longer reduce their learning efficiency because of memory loss caused by unclear recitation.

Fourth, check the results regularly

After these steps, the knowledge learning of new employees is almost completed, but the effect is unknown. Therefore, under the active organization of Liu Chengwu, the monitor, and with the assistance of Han Bin, the technical teacher, the knowledge of new employees is dictated or tested on a regular basis, so as to find problems in time, check and fill gaps, and prevent the habitual problems of missing inspection and repair due to poor impression in the future.

Verbs (short for verb) blend into the collective.

The workshop is a big family, and it is inevitable that new employees will feel at a loss when they first join. In order to reduce this sense of alienation, the team organized a group barbecue after work. In a relaxed atmosphere, the familiarity and affinity between new and old employees have been rapidly narrowed. At the same time, the team will plan more collective activities one after another, gradually develop a "home" culture, strengthen the contact between employees, achieve better cooperative relations, and let new employees have a sense of belonging to the team.
