With the deep integration of residential area and landscape design, we can't help asking: What are the problems in landscape design? This paper will discuss from four aspects: landscape facilities, greening configuration, lack of soul and scale imbalance.

Lack of landscape facilities

Many communities have few leisure facilities such as flower stands, lawns, rockeries and fountains. Is our leisure space really enough?

Greening is scarce and the configuration is chaotic.

In many places, hard pavement has replaced green space, and the tree species are irregularly matched, not to mention aesthetic feeling. Can our environment be greener?

Garden landscape lacks soul.

Every community is the same and lacks unique charm. Are we too similar in the creation of space and the choice of form and lack of innovation?
