Have you ever heard of the word "big board" and thought it was synonymous with large-area tiles? In fact, large slabs are just one kind of large-scale tiles, which are called "ceramic slabs". According to the standard of GB/T23266-2009, tiles with a thickness of less than 6mm and an area of not less than 1.62 square meters can be called large slabs. However, it should be noted that different countries have different definitions of large-size tiles.

Different countries, different standards

In the United States, household bricks are generally small, and those over 450×450mm are considered as large specifications; In European countries, tiles over 750mm are considered as large specifications; In Italy, the most popular large-size tiles are 1200× 1200mm. Of course, in China, we generally think that tiles over 800×800mm are large specifications.
