Novice drivers of automatic cars should pay special attention to several key steps, such as starting, driving, shifting gears, reversing and parking.
1, go:
When auto start is automatically shifted, you need to step on the brake pedal. After engaging the gear, release the hand brake, then lift the brake pedal smoothly, and carry out reasonable throttle control according to the road information. When starting automatically, be careful not to step on the accelerator before starting to avoid unnecessary fuel consumption and wear. Try not to use floor oil after starting, and slowly refuel to make the car have an adaptive process.
2. During driving:
In the process of driving, generally use D gear to move forward. If you drive on some slopes, you can use S gear, which can have sufficient power to avoid the phenomenon of insufficient power on steep slopes and aggravate the wear and tear of cars. When going downhill, you can control the speed by using the idle speed of the engine in the S or L gear, and be careful not to use the N gear.
3. Shift:
Automatic cars also need to shift gears flexibly when driving, so that they will feel more secure when driving. Don't step on the accelerator immediately when shifting gears, which will cause abnormal wear of the automatic clutch in the gearbox. The most important thing to pay attention to is to avoid changing from D to S or L when the vehicle speed is relatively high. Doing so will lead to a violent impact on the gearbox of the car, which is likely to lead to failure or even scrapping.
4. Commutation:
When driving, if you need to reverse, wait until the car stops. If you reverse in the direction of the car, it will damage the parking lock mechanism of the gearbox. If you reverse on a flat road, you can realize flexible reversing without stepping on the accelerator.
5. Stop:
If the parking time is short, you can step on the brake pedal in D gear. You need to be careful not to let the car slip. If the parking time is longer, you can shift to N gear, pull the hand brake and release the brake pedal.
