What should I pay attention to when laying optical fiber?
1) Optical cable construction shall be carried out in strict accordance with the construction specifications;

2)

When the optical cable turns, its turning radius should be greater than 15-20 times the diameter of the optical cable itself. For example, when aerial cable goes up and down the tower, the bending angle should be reduced as much as possible, and at the same time, the cable reel should be electrified to reduce the defensive tension of the cable;

3) Before laying the optical cable, the construction and related personnel shall be properly trained on the pay-off method, essentials, safety and other matters that should be paid attention to in the construction, so as to ensure that the construction personnel obey the command;

4) Relevant personnel shall be arranged at the pay-off place of the optical cable reel, crossing obstacles and terrain bends. In order to find problems in time, troubleshoot, control the pay-off speed and reduce the tension of the pay-off reel;

5) If there are obstacles in the process of optical cable laying, stop dragging and remove them in time. Can't use strong drag, otherwise it will cause damage to the optical cable;

6) When paying off the optical cable, the tension should be stable and should not exceed the tension required by the optical cable standard.

7)

When the optical cable is subjected to a large tension and passes through a pulley with a small bending radius or an angular hard surface at a small angle, the local lateral pressure of the optical cable will be much greater than the rated value, which will damage the internal structure of the optical cable and even cause the optical fiber to break.

8) The optical cable construction unit should constantly sum up experience, strive to improve the construction quality and prevent similar construction accidents.
