Jude Middle School was upgraded to the first municipal school in the east of Haizhu District in 2003. In order to realize the balanced development strategy of education in the whole region, Haizhu District Education Bureau decided to turn Jude Middle School into the flag and window school of eastern schools. In 2005, the school's leading group was completely renewed, and Comrade Chen Jianduan, who had previously worked in No.5 Middle School, was transferred to the school as the principal. The new team insists on running schools according to law, managing schools strictly and teaching strictly. Although the burden on students has increased, the construction of teaching staff has been strengthened, the education and teaching of the school have been comprehensively developed, the teaching quality has been steadily improved, and the reputation of the school has been greatly improved.

The school has a strong faculty, with a team of teachers who love their jobs and are loyal to their duties, and the qualification rate of education is 100%. Nearly 20 teachers participated in postgraduate courses, provincial backbone teacher training, master's degree in on-the-job education and overseas training. There are 50 teachers who have won outstanding teachers (educators), advanced workers, outstanding moral educators, academic dedication awards, merit awards or commendation from cities and districts. The teachers of this school have won many awards in national, provincial, municipal and district competitions. Participated in the problem-solving competition for young math teachers in Guangzhou, two won the first prize and six won the third prize. Some teachers were hired as the second-level coaches of China Mathematical Olympics and the coaches of "Huajin Cup" Junior Mathematics Invitational Tournament. Teachers participated in two sessions of "Pearl Cup" teaching competition for middle school teachers in Haizhu District, and the winning rate reached 100%. Two English teachers were selected by the market and sent to Britain for training.
