According to legend, a long time ago, there lived a kind Hui couple in Yinchuan Plain. They have a daughter named Aisha. Because of her poor family, Aisha went to the rich man's house as a servant when she was 12 years old.
As she grew older, Aisha gradually became a beautiful and moving girl. The rich man, Heima, is greedy for Aisha's beauty and wants to play a bad idea on her. However, Heimanai soon discovered that Aisha had a sweetheart, and she had deep feelings with Yusuf, a long-term worker. Heima was bent on breaking up the mandarin ducks, but at the thought of Yusuf's strong physique and strong personality, he couldn't help shivering and dared not make a move.
All this was seen by the housekeeper, Gaximu. In order to please his master, he thought hard for several days and finally came up with a poisonous trick. One day, just before dawn, the rich man Dark Horse Nai said to Yusuf, "Last night, some camels of my family ran into the desert. If you help me get them back, I will give you a camel. " Yusuf didn't know what medicine was sold in the rich man's gourd, so he went to Aisha and said, "Some camels of Heimanai's family have been lost. Let me find them. I heard that wild animals often haunt the desert. I don't think he has any good intentions. If you come back after dark, I am afraid that even if you call it (the name of "death" by Muslims), you will never see you again. It will become a mountain and stay with you forever. "
After Yusuf left, Aisha looked out of the window and waited anxiously for her sweetheart, but Yusuf didn't come back until dark. Aisha searched for her sweetheart in the bleak moonlight.
Aisha cried as she walked. I don't know how many roads she walked, but suddenly a mountain appeared in front of her. She suddenly remembered what Yusuf said when he left. She was sure that her sweetheart was dead. Aisha was in tears, and her crying touched God. Every sad tear turned into a lake in the desert. Aisha cried and cried until she reached the foot of the mountain and her tears dried up. Exhausted Aisha was heartbroken and fell to the ground. Her beautiful body connects many lakes together and gradually forms a river, which flows slowly to the distance along the foot of the mountain-this is the Aiyi River.
