Five elements of applying for seaman's competency certificate
First, professional education and training.

How to get a crew certificate when working on a ship,
If you want to be an official, there are both technical secondary schools and junior colleges. Secondary school students can only do two pairs or two tubes, and junior college students can continue to rise. Two years in technical secondary school is enough, and three or four years in junior college. The tuition fee is about one year 10000.
Ordinary crew members are much simpler, as long as they go to the relevant maritime colleges for training for about four months, and the tuition fee is about 15000.
Senior crew members need to take a lot of certificates, and they can only formally work during the internship period on board 12 months, while ordinary crew members can only work after 6 months of internship.
If you think you can learn well, I suggest you take the senior crew exam. Take, for example, the three officers with the lowest positions among the senior crew. The salary is about three times that of ordinary crew members, and there is no need to work on the ship, and the treatment is also very good. Ordinary crew members are working, mainly manual labor. The salary is also very low!
Don't think that officers have high tuition fees and long hours. If you can successfully enter the military officer, you can earn your tuition back five months after you officially work. Believe me, brother, I used to be an ordinary officer, but now I am studying as an officer!
What are the requirements for the crew certificate examination?
Seafarers are divided into ordinary seafarers and senior seafarers. Generally, an application for rating shall meet the following conditions:
(1) male, age 18-35 years old, with no bad behavior record, and likes sailing.
(2) Junior high school education or above, with a certain English foundation.
(3) The height is above 1.65, without color blindness and colorless weakness, and the naked eye vision of the ship driving major (third mate and sailor) is not less than 1.0, and the ship engine major (three pipes and mechanic) is not less than 0.8; No stuttering, no flat feet, normal liver function, no chronic diseases and infectious diseases, and meet the physical examination standards for seafarers. See the "Admissions Guide" for details.
The training time for ordinary seafarers is generally 4 months. Professional training must be conducted in a training institution with corresponding qualifications designated by the National Maritime Safety Administration, and the specific training place shall be contacted by the crew company with the training institution.
To apply for an officer, you need to graduate from high school or have a high school education, and other conditions are the same as those of ordinary crew members. The training time is 2-3 years, and the national recognized junior college or technical secondary school degree in navigation is obtained.
According to national regulations, only People's Republic of China (PRC) and China Maritime Safety Administration are designated as the only departments to examine and approve seafarers' certificates, and shipping companies with the ability to recruit and train seafarers in all districts (cities) must apply for various seafarers' certificates at the maritime safety administration designated by the state. If citizens want to learn to train seafarers and apply for certificates, they can register with the shipping company to handle related matters. Details are as follows:
Training, learning and certification
Citizens apply to the shipping company to study seafarers, and the shipping company arranges for training in seafarers' training bases designated by the state. After passing the examination at the end of the study period, the shipping company will handle the professional training certificate, day shift competency certificate, service book and crew certificate on its behalf.
How to test the crew certificate
First, professional education and training.
1. The seamen who apply for the certificates of competency for Class B and Class C seamen and the certificates of competency for GMDSS restricted operators shall have the professional training time specified by the competent authority, receive professional training at the maritime school or have relevant professional qualifications.
2.500 gross tonnage and above the ship to declare the third mate, three tube wheel, GMDSS general operators, must have more than two years of maritime vocational education or maritime technical secondary school education.
3. Crew members who declare GMDSS first mate, captain, chief engineer and second-class wireless electronic engineer in wireless navigation area must have higher education in navigation-related major or college education in related major.
Second, we must have maritime qualifications.
1. After obtaining the training certificate, those who apply for the certificates of competency of Class B and Class C machinists need six months' offshore internship qualification (navigation area: infinite navigation area, near-ocean navigation area and coastal navigation area).
2. Those who apply for certificates of competency for third mate and tube wheel should hold certificates of competency for crew and mechanic on duty in the corresponding navigation area, and have actually worked for 12 months (new certificates: all above the coastal navigation area).
3. Those who apply for the certificate of competency for the first mate and the second engineer should hold the certificate of competency for the first mate and the second engineer in the corresponding navigation area and ship class, and have actually worked for 12 months.
4. To apply for the certificate of competency of the captain and chief engineer, the applicant shall hold the certificate of competency of the first mate and the second engineer of the corresponding navigation area and class, and have actually worked for 18 months.
5. To apply for expanding the navigation area examination and evaluation, the applicant shall hold a certificate of competency of the same ship level lower than the application navigation area, and have actually held his post for 6 months.
6. To apply for the examination of increasing tonnage and power, the assessor should hold a certificate of competency for tonnage and power lower than the applied tonnage, but the navigation area and location are the same, and the actual post is 12 months.
7. Those who apply to expand the navigation area and provide tonnage and power at the same time shall hold a certificate of competency with the same position as the navigation area and lower tonnage and power, and have actually worked for 18 months.
Third, we need professional training.
1. Baoyi, Grade C, seafarers and mechanics must receive six-month professional training from regular training units, including "basic safety" and "proficiency in sailing" for seafarers.
2.(2) Applicants for passenger ship attendants, cooks and electricians are required to undergo the professional training of Basic Safety for Seafarers for about 10 days. Passenger ship flight attendants also need to go through "passenger ship professional training".
3.(3) The captains, drivers, engineers, sailors and mechanics (oil tankers, chemicals, liquefied gas carriers) who apply for special ships need to undergo "special professional" training.
Fourth, practice at sea.
1.B and c crew members and machinists shall have six months' offshore practice (including marine and coastal areas) after obtaining the "Certificate of Examination".
2. The crew members who have obtained the examination certificates of three-mate and three-tube ships need to practice as sailors and mechanics 12 months on board before they can renew their certificates of competency.
3. The crew of ordinary cargo ships or passenger ships need to practice on special ships (oil tankers, chemical tankers, liquefied gas carriers, etc.). ) after three months of "special professional" training, the certificate of competency for special ships can be renewed.
Verb (abbreviation for verb) safety record
No matter what kind of crew members make mistakes or accidents at sea, the maritime administrative agency shall decide whether to declare various certificates of competency according to their performance and accidents after confirmation.
Is the crew certificate easy to test? How to take the exam? What are the requirements? Five points.
I am a professional navigation teacher, and I can tell you responsibly that it is very difficult to get a high salary. I mean the high salary of 15000, because the certificate of officer needs a lot of time and experience.
First of all, the crew of the security class is a mechanic in the engine department of the nail plate crew. These two certificates are easy to master, provided that familiarization and basic safety training needs 15 days, and lifeboat and rescue boat training needs 7 days. With these two certificates, you can participate in the training of sailors mechanics for about 3 months and 90 days.
The operator's deck department first tries three courses, requiring college education or above, or maritime technical secondary school education or above. To test this certificate, you need to complete familiarity and basic safety, master boats and rafts, and master first aid GMDSS radar ARP. Finally, you will take three evaluation and theoretical exams.
There are many evaluation contents. If you have the ambition to be a sailor, you will learn about it in colleges and universities, so I won't go into details.
In addition to mastering the first aid G Caredda ARP, the deck department also has to take an examination, as well as an assessment theory examination.
At present, the examination and certification office of the Maritime Safety Administration of the Ministry of Communications is changing every year. I can't tell you the details here. You'd better go to the Maritime College to find out.
Write so much for LZ, I wish LZ can become a successful sailor.
How to obtain a crew certificate
Working experience on a ship can only be regarded as sea experience.
The seaman's certificate of competency needs to be re-examined.
The crew has a high salary, which is quite good. It's best to take an international airline exam (the salary is high, but you can't go home often)
What are the specific requirements? It depends on the certificate you get. Go to the maritime safety administration for consultation.
How to test the certificate of ordinary crew
The examination includes theoretical examination and practical operation examination (assessment). The theoretical examination takes the form of written examination and is closed. Practical examination (assessment) to complete the project operation/homework required by the examiner.
The competency examination subjects of ocean crew and inland crew are different.
Is the general crew certificate easy to test? What should I pay attention to? I don't study well.
Nice test. After three months of training, I will take the exam. easy
What do seafarers usually mean by "big card"?
A: If you work in your post, your company will inform you. Specifically, you should contact the human resources department of your company.
What do you need to test seafarers?
Ordinary sailors became saturated in 2008. Now four small certificates are sold everywhere. Sailors must entrust people to board the ship. The boatswain is around 5 thousand in January. Depending on the route. The ocean is larger than the offshore. Now you have to take the exam of three assistants, and you have to complete not less than two years of vocational education in navigation-related majors or above in navigation-related technical secondary schools. If it is the most common crew treatment, it is more than 20% to 30% of the average social wage. After graduation, three certificates of competency and college education should be tested together. In other words, starting from 2009, all graduates of "Three-to-Three Management" have college education and above. You can't get on the boat without any documents. Senior seafarers have several requirements: first, good English, otherwise it is difficult to pass the big certificate. Second, height and vision are required. Decks are more demanding than engines. Third, we must study full-time for three years And you have to prepare 40 thousand to 50 thousand tuition. The treatment at the operational level is more than thirteen thousand. View original post >>
