Shandong Institute of Management started in Yishui County 1938, an old revolutionary base area. Formerly known as Shandong Federation of Trade Unions Cadre School, it was established in 1950. 1987 was transformed into Shandong trade union management cadre college, and in 20 13, it was transformed into an ordinary undergraduate college with the approval of the Ministry of Education and the Shandong Provincial People's Government. The school is located in Jinan, Quancheng, and has two campuses, Changqing and Licheng, with a total area of 735,700 square meters and a construction area of 302,800 square meters.
