Brief introduction of Tongling College

Tongling College is a multi-disciplinary provincial undergraduate college and a training base for financial talents in Anhui Province. It has been selected as a demonstration application-oriented undergraduate college in Anhui Province and a local application-oriented high-level university in Anhui Province.

The school was established in April. 1978. When it was first established, it was Tongling Normal College of Anhui University of Labor. May 1983 was renamed Tongling Institute of Finance and Economics. In August 2000, Anhui Provincial People's Government approved the merger of Anhui Metallurgical Industry School and Tongling Normal School into Tongling College of Finance and Economics. In March 2002, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, Tongling College of Finance and Economics was upgraded to Tongling College.
