Band 4 and Band 8 are only for English majors. Only English majors and translation majors can take CET-4 and CET-6, while students from other majors can only take CET-4 and CET-6 in universities. However, there is no rigid requirement for English majors to have TEM-4 or TEM-8, but it is possible to give priority to candidates who have had TEM-4 or TEM-8.
