Brief Analysis of 6S Lean Management

Through the study of "6S lean management", we have gained a lot. 6S includes six aspects: sorting (SEIRI), correcting (SEITON), cleaning (SEISO), cleaning (SEIKETSU), literacy (SHITSUKE) and safety. Among them, five aspects (5S) of sorting, rectifying, sweeping, cleaning and literacy were invented in Japan. Later, it was found that safety is also a very important item in factory management. Because the safe English pronunciation also starts with S, adding 5S is called 6S. Today, Japanese enterprises also regard 6S as the pillar of enterprise management, and it has also been widely used and developed in well-known enterprises such as Boeing Company in the United States.

6S lean management mainly emphasizes two aspects, the first is the clarity of land and things, that is, whether we can clearly see our workplace from the perspective of guests or new employees; Secondly, it emphasizes the standardization of people, that is, every employee is very careful and rigorous, and all work can be done in place.

At present, 65% of enterprises in the world are widely implementing 5S or 6S management. 6S management seems simple, but its actual connotation is very rich. It is of great significance to deeply understand and grasp the connotation of 6S management, the relationship between various elements, the relationship between 6S management activities and other activities, the implementation cycle and strategy of 6S management, and how to effectively solve the problems existing in the implementation of 6S management.

It is of great practical significance to carry out 6s lean management, mainly as follows: 1. Enhance corporate image and comprehensive quality, optimize working environment, attract customers and enhance confidence; 2. Reduce waste: set up management, make rational use of the site, and realize the reasonable state of the people's site; 3. Improve efficiency: good environment and mood, orderly arrangement, and reduce handling operations; 4. Quality assurance: serious and rigorous work, quality control of key processes; 5. Safety guarantee: the passage is smooth, wide and bright, the personnel are serious and responsible, and there are few accidents; 6. Improve the service life of equipment: cleaning, spot inspection, maintenance and maintenance; 7. Reduce costs: reduce leakage and reduce back-and-forth handling; 8. Accurate delivery date: be clear at a glance, and the abnormal phenomenon is obvious. Adjust the operation in time.

6S management is a continuous work, with only a starting point and no end point. There is still a big gap between the United States and Japan, Germany and other rigorous countries in implementing 6S management. First of all, many domestic enterprises don't really understand the meaning of 6S management. Even in the eyes of some senior managers, 6S is equivalent to cleanliness. Many people in our company have this idea: "Now the production is so tight, why do you engage in 6S? What a waste of time! " I think that 6S management and production are two different things, but I don't realize that it is an advanced management method to promote production. Secondly, in implementation, because of the gap in understanding, it cannot be implemented. Many grass-roots managers or post workers regard 6S management as a burden and are unwilling to implement it. Talk more and do less, and cleaning up before inspection is just a chore. Make 6S management a mere formality and can't really play its role.

Based on the above factors, I personally think that the most important thing to implement 6S management in Chinese enterprises is to raise awareness and eliminate differences. Everyone must reach a * * * knowledge, realize its benefits, and be truly willing to accept it from the heart. 6S management is a management method to improve our work efficiency, not a burden. Before implementation, all employees should be trained, including every employee, who should know something about 6S and understand the real significance of implementing 6S management. Secondly, the main leaders of enterprises should attach great importance to it and often go to the site to supervise and inspect the implementation of 6S management; The third is to start with details and make unremitting efforts, because 6S management pays attention to details, but it is also difficult to pay attention to details. When 6S management is not finished, as long as it is decided to implement it, it is necessary to keep pushing forward, step by step, and promote the continuous improvement of the quality of all staff.

6s management has the functions and functions of significantly improving production environment, enhancing corporate image, remolding corporate culture, improving product quality, improving safety level and improving work efficiency. It is an advanced basic management method to build competitive enterprises and first-class quality staff. There is an inherent logical relationship among the six "S" elements, which constitutes a relatively complete system. Among them, improving people's literacy, forming a corporate culture that pursues Excellence and lean, and forming a joint effort of human resources are the center and core of 6s management, and are the foundation and guarantee of other management activities. Therefore, once it is decided to implement 6S management within the enterprise, it must be done well to truly improve the quality of employees and build a first-class enterprise.
