What is the TOEFL for studying in Japan?
Generally speaking, most public universities and some excellent private universities in Japan require students' English level when enrolling students. There are two forms: students provide ready-made TOEFL or TOEFL scores and take English exams directly at various universities.

For a graduate who has studied in a Japanese language school for more than one year, it is difficult for students to systematically review English subjects during this time. If you take the English proficiency test directly in the middle school attached to the school, your grades are often not ideal, which will affect your admission.

TOEFL scores include three items and a total score. The three-part score is the "original score" obtained by the examinee's correct answer to the question and the "proportional score" obtained by statistical means, while the total score is the sum of the three-part proportional scores multiplied by 10 and then divided by 3.

There is no uniform regulation on the admission scores of freshmen in American or Canadian universities, but generally about three-quarters of universities require freshmen's T0EFL scores to be above 550.
