How to get a financial planner?
1. Attend AFP training.

Those who sign up for AFP training class and obtain the training certificate of financial planner can sign up for AFP exam.

Those who have a doctor's degree in economic management or economics recognized by FPSB in China, and can be exempted from all training courses after approval, can directly sign up for the AFP exam.

Take the AFP exam

The training certificate of AFP financial planner is valid for 4 years, and you can take the AFP exam within 4 years.

3. Apply for AFP certification

Applying for certification after passing the AFP exam requires different work experience for candidates with different academic qualifications. Details are as follows:

College degree, more than 3 years working experience in related industry.

Bachelor degree, at least 2 years working experience in related industry.

Graduate degree, with at least 1 year working experience in related industries.

Requirements for employment agencies: You must have relevant experience in financial institutions, accounting firms, law firms and other institutions recognized by FPSB in China.
