First, the main difficulties in baseball teaching
(1) Baseball teaching foundation is weak.
The weak foundation of baseball special teaching is an important problem that restricts the development of baseball special teaching. Although baseball was introduced to China for more than 100 years, it was concentrated in some areas from the initial introduction to the later teaching, and it was not really popularized. Baseball itself has unique sports charm and needs students' comprehensive skills, and its sports value is very important to the development of baseball. The development of baseball special teaching is limited due to the insufficient publicity of TV media, few students participating in baseball special learning, weak mass base and insufficient influence. The main participants in baseball are still concentrated in athletes, international students, employees of foreign-related enterprises, students of private schools and other groups. There are not many opportunities for citizens to participate in baseball, which limits the development of baseball teaching.
(2) Lack of attention to baseball teaching.
The school does not pay enough attention to baseball special teaching, with less teaching hours and limited equipment and venues. Many schools can't participate in open classes or campus competitions, which leads to the failure of baseball special teaching.
Second, the development of baseball teaching measures
(1) Give full play to the advantages of baseball special teaching in colleges and universities, and strengthen cooperation in baseball special teaching.
There are obvious advantages in developing baseball special teaching in colleges and universities. Students have strong adaptability and prefer new things. They are a very large consumer group with rich cultural background and ideal comprehensive quality. Colleges and universities should actively cooperate with enterprises to carry out baseball special teaching, so that enterprises can understand the ability of college students, and colleges and universities can get more baseball special teaching support, which can form a win-win baseball teaching situation. Colleges and universities should also give full play to their own teaching advantages, solve the problems of funds and resources, and lay the foundation for improving the quality of baseball teaching.
(2) Strengthen the professional ability of baseball special teaching team.
Colleges and universities should establish professional baseball teaching teams to continuously improve the abilities of teachers and coaches. At present, there is a serious shortage of college baseball teachers and coaches, and the overall teaching level needs to be further improved. Therefore, colleges and universities can hold training courses for college baseball and softball coaches, carry out professional training for coaches, find more advanced training methods, improve the baseball teaching level of coaches, regularly increase the training content of coaches, and actively hire foreign high-level coaches to carry out professional training for coaches in China. For example, regular baseball teaching speech contests are held to make full preparations for the development of baseball teaching.
