How to improve senior high school students' Chinese writing ability
When it comes to writing a composition, students often feel that they have nothing to say, but they have no choice but to make a patchwork of their compositions. With the continuous progress of education, composition teaching should be reformed to adapt to modern education. Composition teaching should be constantly improved and perfected. In the final analysis, it is still necessary to take the child's personality development as the starting point and destination. In composition teaching, I found that some students talk empty words and tell lies, with a single form and rigid structure. In order to get rid of the predicament of composition teaching and improve students' writing level, we must update the concept of Chinese teaching and be responsible for students for life. According to these phenomena of students at present, I made a new attempt in writing teaching and achieved gratifying results. In the practice of composition teaching, I realize that students should be less bound and more independent if they want to write a good composition. The following is my experience in writing teaching:

Combined with classroom teaching practice, guide students to observe life and be a person with conscience about life.

Composition comes from life. Therefore, in the middle school stage, I guide students to write by participating in life, examining their own lives and savoring their own life feelings. This kind of teaching conforms to the modern educational concept and students' homework psychology, which is beneficial to the cultivation of students' innovative ability. I attach importance to enriching students' campus life, organizing students' outings, watching exhibitions, doing good deeds in the streets, greening and planting trees, cleaning, holding lectures, debates, story meetings, participating in school sports competitions, singing competitions and so on. I also encourage students to go to the library in their spare time, so that students can read and write freely. Handwritten tabloids are held in the class, and Chinese classes are extended to extracurricular activities. The colorful campus life provides students with rich writing nourishment. I also pay attention to creating a good environment for students to participate in social activities, guiding students to participate in various social practice activities, and collecting information independently, recording experiences and writing out feelings and experiences in various activities. These beneficial activities broaden students' writing channels, stimulate students' writing enthusiasm and give full play to their writing talents. Students' compositions are always selected from the events that students feel most deeply in the activities. In this way, students have changed from "fear of writing" to "love writing" and from "making things up" to "showing their true feelings".

Encourage students to care about current affairs, listen to news and read newspapers and periodicals to express their feelings.

Students can't write argumentative essays without material, so I ask students to listen to the news more. At home, students are required to pay attention to the news and current affairs at breakfast, lunch and dinner. At the same time, I encourage students to read more newspapers and broaden their horizons. China Youth Daily has subscribed to Classes, Reference News, Excerpts, Cui Wen, Composition Newspaper and Language World. Ordered by the students themselves, all the students rushed to read and take notes, and accumulated a lot of typical materials. On this basis, I asked the students to put the newspaper. As a result, students' newspaper clippings are better than teachers' propositional compositions, because they are interested in writing and have feelings.

Third, select the genre and topic of composition, and strive to serialize and systematize the composition training.

In teaching, on the one hand, I let students examine the composition, and I make a detailed analysis and comment on the "No.1 scholar" article, so that students can be familiar with the types of composition exams systematically; On the other hand, based on the principles of meeting the requirements of writing objectives, students' reality and freshness, I carefully selected composition styles and topics and conducted series and systematic training for students. For example, for a 200-word essay, I chose the following types and topics: (1) Explanatory text: "ballpoint pen", using more than three kinds of explanatory texts in a certain order. (2) Scene: The Lotus Pond during recess, using narrative, descriptive and lyric to write a scene. (3) badge introduction: introduce the statue of the school badge and explain its composition and meaning. (4) Continue to write the imaginary situational composition "In the self-study class, a classmate suddenly laughed ...". Einstein once said: "Imagination is more important than intelligence, because knowledge is limited, and imagination also summarizes everything in the world." Imagination is the wing of thinking. Giving students reasonable imagination space in composition teaching can not only develop students' thinking in images, but also improve students' language expression ability and promote the combination of reading and writing, killing two birds with one stone. Therefore, teachers should guide students, give full play to their subjective initiative, expand their imagination and write their own feelings. At the same time, after the new lesson, stimulate students' imagination and show their inner thoughts in the form of fairy tales. The characteristics of fairy tales facilitate students to develop rich associations, express and entrust their emotions. No matter how bizarre fairy tales are, they are all waves in students' hearts and flowers imagined by students, which will stimulate their interest in writing. For example, after learning the text Qinghe, in order to make students understand the importance of maintaining ecological balance, I encourage students to write imaginary articles, some of which are the adventures of the frog prince, some are the stories of the animal kingdom, and some are emergency rescue operations. Fantasy is strange, full of eager expectation, and generate has the spark of creation.

As for masterpieces, there are propositional narratives, short argumentative essays, explanatory essays, material narratives and material argumentative essays (including pictures).

Fourth, strengthen the training of examining questions, examine more questions and write well.

The first step in writing is to examine the topic, and whether the topic is correct or not is an important link that affects the success or failure of the article. Therefore, the first step of writing training is to guide students to solve the purpose and meaning of geography problems comprehensively and accurately, that is, to examine the questions well. In teaching, I pay attention to guiding students to master the general skills of examining topics, such as (1) examining a propositional composition and paying attention to the limitations of the topic; (2) the style of examination; (3) Review the writing requirements (including matters needing attention and tips); (4) Examination-oriented intermediate review scale; Material composition (including picture composition) should not only be mentioned in points (3) and (4) above, but also be carefully reviewed, and many materials should be summarized to find out the best angles and ideas. There are so many contents in Chinese teaching that it is impossible to ask students to write a lot. Therefore, there is little time for careful writing, and students' writing ability is cultivated. Practice has proved that this is a good method.

5. Learn from famous books and advocate applying what you have learned.

Qi Baishi, a painter, once said, "Those who learn from me live like I die." Art is inseparable from a process of learning from imitation, but it cannot be eaten alive and copied mechanically, and so is composition. It is also a way for me to train my writing by learning famous articles for students to try and imitate articles in the way I just learned. For example, after studying travel prose, students are required to practice writing by "changing the scene". Encourage students to apply what they have learned. Of course, this imitation is not a rigid copy, but a way for students to learn from famous writers.

Try to write an argumentative essay and break through the conventional thinking.

The essay topic "Those who are close to the ink are black/those who are close to the ink are not necessarily black" requires candidates to choose one of them to write, which is actually a debate essay question type. Inspired by it, I use this composition method for reference, with the topics of "A famous teacher makes a brilliant apprentice/a famous teacher doesn't necessarily make a brilliant apprentice" and "Where there is a will, there is a way/where there is a will, there is a way", so that students can argue in their compositions, so that they can hold one view to refute another opposing view, which requires them not only to have a clear view, but also to pay attention to the dialectics of argument, not to say that they are one-sided and extreme. In this way, many students can break through the conventional thinking, broaden their writing ideas and write well-founded and unconventional articles. The debate scene was also very lively and the students were full of interest.

7. Teachers' evaluation and correction of compositions should be combined with students' mutual correction and self-correction, with evaluation and encouragement as the mainstay.

In order to give full play to students' enthusiasm, stimulate their interest in writing, cultivate their ability to correct their compositions, and thus improve their writing level, in addition to the teacher's own evaluation, I also adopt the form of students' mutual evaluation or self-evaluation. The specific methods are: before class, the teacher browses the students' compositions to find out their advantages and disadvantages, analyzes the problems in class, points out the advantages and disadvantages of this composition, demonstrates and comments on two or three articles, lists the standards for correcting, and then asks the students to correct, evaluate each other and evaluate themselves, first find out the advantages, then point out the disadvantages, and encourage them emphatically. Then the teacher collects and rereads and posts excellent exercises. In this way, students personally participate in correcting articles, so they have a deeper understanding of the writing requirements of such compositions.

These practices are some of my attempts in teaching. Actually, persistence is the key to writing. Only by being a conscientious person in life can you truly become a master of composition and even an excellent writer in the future.
