Abstract: At present, college students' honesty education has become an important part of ideological and political education in colleges and universities. However, there is a dilemma that the education strength and effectiveness of college students' honesty education are not equal. Taking students in independent colleges as an example, this paper reflects on the dilemma of college students' honesty education from two aspects: external performance and internal factors, trying to improve the society's understanding of college students' honesty education and promote its healthy development.
First, the external performance of the plight of college students' honesty education
1. The negative impact of lack of honesty. At present, college students' honesty education has achieved certain results, but the intensity and effect of education are uneven. This phenomenon is fundamentally caused by college students' different honesty and knowledge. Through interviews and surveys, college students generally agree with honesty, and they realize that honesty is a virtue and worth promoting. However, some college students lack honesty in their study, work and life. The lack of honesty of independent college students is more prominent. Students in independent colleges have weak abilities of self-management, self-education and self-control, and are easily influenced by many unhealthy trends in society. The most intuitive performance is that some students lack lofty social responsibility, selfishness, decadent ideas and lack of integrity. From the point of view of moral psychology, honesty is a dynamic system composed of honesty need, honesty motivation, honesty behavior and related psychological feedback. A good sense of honesty does not necessarily mean good moral behavior. Honesty is a generally accepted code of conduct for college students, but it must be influenced by relevant factors if it is to be put into practice. For example, the integrity of the other party, the importance of the incident, and the consideration of one's own interests. It is precisely because of these factors that college students' honesty behavior is inconsistent with their honesty consciousness. This inconsistency is the fundamental reason for the asymmetry of college students' honesty education.
2. College students' honesty education has not been paid enough attention. At present, college students' honesty education has not received enough attention in schools, society and even students and their families, which is an important reason why college students' honesty education is in trouble. "For a long time, the content of ideological and political work in colleges and universities has focused on the education of patriotism, collectivism and * * * productism, weakening the cultivation and research of moral and psychological quality, especially the most basic moral norm of interpersonal communication-honest and trustworthy education." The leadership system and working mechanism of ideological and political education in some colleges and universities are immature and imperfect, and management and education are seriously out of touch. At the same time, honesty education is "fragmented", with little overall cooperation, lack of linkage and lack of systematicness. In the family education environment, parents and students pay more attention to the acquisition of students' own scientific and cultural knowledge, the improvement of professional skills and literacy, and the ideal employment. However, the understanding and attention to honesty education is not enough, and even the opposite is true.
Second, the internal cause analysis of the dilemma of college students' honesty education
1. The negative impact of social "credit crisis". At present, China is in a period of social transformation. The degree of social civilization has not yet reached perfection, and the improvement of people's moral level lags behind the development of social economy. In the process of social transformation, there are institutional and legal imperfections. The corresponding restraint mechanism of moral integrity is not perfect, which leads to the phenomenon of social dishonesty, and then leads to the social moral crisis with the "integrity crisis" as the core, which is to get quick success and instant benefit economically and to be mercenary morally. However, the supervision system and moral restraint system adapted to the market economy are not perfect, and the market lacks a strong supervision and restraint mechanism, so that those who keep promises are not encouraged and benefited, and those who break promises are not punished accordingly. This situation blurs the line between right and wrong to some extent, forming a moral gray area: the income of the faithless person is higher than the cost of faithlessness, and the faithless person is profitable. This situation has damaged the whole social credit system to a certain extent, and the honesty education of college students is bound to be affected.
2. Lack of honesty in family education. At present, honesty education is lacking in family education. Most college students are born after 90, and most of them are only children. They are a collection of thousands of pets, and their family education is relatively loose. It is not uncommon for parents to write homework and compositions on their behalf. Independent college students, high school grades belong to the middle and lower reaches, generally poor grades, cheating is very serious. The lack of honesty in family education is an important reason. On the one hand, family education basically regards academic performance as the only criterion to measure children, and regards the cultivation of moral concepts as dispensable. On the other hand, parents' own dishonesty plays down the educational effect. Some parents can't be role models for their children in honesty and behavior. Parents' bad demonstration and wrong guidance make college students gradually realize the benefits of dishonesty, blur the moral boundary between honesty and dishonesty, and run counter to the essence of honesty education.
3. The values of college students have been basically fixed. The mainstream of college students' outlook on life and values is healthy. Although college students have not officially entered the society, they have contacted and understood the society through various channels. Especially in the Internet age, students have more channels to contact with society. They are in an important period of forming their world outlook, outlook on life and values. The negative factors in the social environment have a profound impact on college students' ideological understanding and values, which inevitably leads to deviations or even deviations of some college students' outlook on life and values. At present, social values tend to be hedonism and individualism. In practice, it is mercenary and treacherous. This pursuit of value, which aims at personal material interests, and the concept of justice and benefit, which values profit over righteousness, directly affects people's economic behavior and social interaction. Some college students have poor sense of right and wrong, weak will, relatively weak self-control ability, easy to be influenced, and their values deviate from the right direction. When dealing with the relationship between society and others, we should be self-centered and can sacrifice honesty and moral standards to achieve our goals. This way of value realization encourages the atmosphere of not stressing honesty and seriously hinders the development of honesty education in ideological and political work.
4. The negative factors of the university itself. Compared with the whole society, the credit environment of colleges and universities is relatively good, but it is not spotless. Some dishonest behaviors in some colleges and universities have formed a paradox with college students' honesty education. There are many drawbacks and loopholes in the management field of some colleges and universities, such as black-box operation in enrollment, unhealthy practices in various evaluations, dishonesty in academic research, academic corruption and so on. Some functional departments closely related to college students also have the phenomenon of loose work, ineffective system implementation and ineffective supervision, which brings opportunities for some dishonest college students and provides space for the breeding of dishonest behavior. These negative "demonstrations" objectively contribute to the spread of college students' lack of integrity and pose a severe challenge to college students' integrity education.
Third, thinking about the dilemma of college students' honesty education.
1. Can honesty education in colleges and universities fundamentally change the current situation of college students' lack of honesty?
The answer is obviously no, the formation of honesty is a long and long process, and the earlier honesty education is implemented, the more obvious the effect on the formation of students' honesty. "Our moral education is an inverted pyramid, and kindergartens carry out proletarian education; Socialist education in primary schools; Collective education in middle schools; Universities carry out education on civilized manners and behavior habits. " This shows that moral education in our school does not grasp the cognitive law and psychological growth law in the process of students' growth, which leads to moral problems such as cognitive defects and honesty among college students. College students are like a blank sheet of paper smeared by various false phenomena in society. Let colleges and universities at the top of school education undertake the honesty education that should be focused on at the beginning of life, make up for the congenital deficiency of honesty education, and let the lines that already exist on the white paper representing the concept of honesty return to their proper positions. This is a chore with half the effort in itself, and it is also doomed that honesty education in colleges and universities can only change the status quo of college students' lack of honesty to a certain extent, but cannot be completely eradicated.
2. How can we fundamentally get rid of the dilemma of college students' honesty education?
From the analysis of the plight of college students' honesty education, we can easily find that if we want to get rid of the plight of college students' honesty education fundamentally, we must have corresponding external factors. First, a good social credit environment. Honesty education of college students must rely on social environment. While strengthening college students' honesty education, we must cultivate social honesty culture. Restrict the issue of honesty in the legal system and morality, and form a social honesty atmosphere with clear rewards and punishments. Second, an honest family atmosphere. The influence of family on students' honesty is subtle. Parents should use honest words and deeds and noble quality to influence students, drive them to grow and progress, and form a family atmosphere that will be honest. Third, a school moral education system that follows students' cognitive laws. The formation of the moral concept of honesty should start from an early age. The school moral education system that follows students' cognitive rules is undoubtedly the best choice for honesty education, and it will get twice the result with half the effort to educate college students. Fourth, improve the integrity education system for college students.
To get out of the predicament of college students' honesty education, we must form a comprehensive and harmonious moral education concept in the whole society. "Schools, families and society cannot be completely separated in the process of harmonious moral education. Build a multi-channel, multi-directional moral education organization network around the socialist core values, so as to achieve the same goal by different routes, exchange needed goods, connect vertically, connect horizontally and interact with each other to form a joint force to fight a lasting moral education &; Lsquo fought a tough battle. . Therefore, to solve the problem of college students' lack of honesty, we must have the above factors and form the concept of honesty education in family, school and society. By carefully comparing various factors, we find that these external factors are not available at present, and it is difficult for college students' honesty education to get out of the current predicament.
3. Is it necessary to continue the honesty education for college students?
Honesty education for college students must continue to exist. Generally speaking, honesty education in colleges and universities is an integral part of comprehensive and harmonious moral education, and we should not give up our efforts because of immaturity and imperfection in many aspects. Specifically, independent colleges should carry out honesty education: first, the lack of honesty among college students in the new period is the direct reason for the inevitable existence of honesty education among college students. University is the last place for students to study in society, and it is an ideal environment for forming a good outlook on life and values and correcting bad thoughts and consciousness. Although the effect of college students' honesty education is not satisfactory, at least it has achieved some results. Secondly, the effectiveness of college students' honesty education has not been fully exerted. The integrity education system of college students is not perfect, which restricts its effectiveness. It is urgent to improve the integrity education system for college students as soon as possible. Thirdly, university education is at the top of school education, and the implementation of college students' honesty education can make up for the shortcomings of previous school education to some extent.
