The school where I teach is located in a remote rural area, and students begin to lose interest in art classes. I will adjust measures to local conditions, teach students in accordance with their aptitude, and guide students to describe the people and things they know best in their lives, such as bamboo forests in mountain villages, birds and flowers, rice waves in rural areas, farmers and villagers, and so on. Describe vividly how interesting they are. It can be seen that art class is particularly important for cultivating students' hobbies.
First, understand students' psychology and cultivate interest
First of all, let students know that art is not an independent art discipline, but closely related to many disciplines. If we use image symbols, it is clear at a glance that image makes students feel beauty consciously in vision and permeates the education of natural beauty. At present, some schools pay more attention to students' academic performance, pursue the enrollment rate unilaterally, and often ignore art education. Some schools even offer art classes in name only. In today's quality education, aesthetic education can not be ignored. How to cultivate rural students' strong interest in art, I think we should start from the classroom, pay attention to cultivating their interest, and constantly improve students' innovative ability. Art education is an effective way to improve students' perceptual ability, emotional attitude and life experience. Teachers should guide students well in class and stimulate their enthusiasm. To guide students to start with their interests, they can choose to draw what they like first, and interest often produces phased effects. Teachers should deeply understand students' psychology, guide them correctly, cultivate students' hobbies and interests in learning art, and promote and improve students' innovative ability.
Second, pay attention to the practicality of learning subjects.
At present, due to the poor teaching conditions of art in rural areas, students have few art practice classes and the experiential learning methods of art classes are not rich enough. Therefore, teachers should start from teaching practice, pay attention to the artistry, scientificity and interest of art education, and adopt flexible teaching forms with rich contents and various forms, so that students can experience life in nature, appreciate the beauty of natural art and nature, let students experience the independence of art learning and close connection with other disciplines, and correct their dislike of art learning through experiential learning.
Third, pay attention to the flexibility of teaching materials.
The process of learning is the blending process of subject and object, and the integration process of learning subject and knowledge object. Students are the subject of learning, with autonomy, initiative and creativity, while the content of teaching materials is autistic and passive, which increases obstacles and difficulties for students, and the subject of learning and the object of teaching become a pair of contradictions. We carry out various interesting and energetic art teaching activities in art teaching.
For example, in the art teaching of "Let my plane fly in the blue sky", I first educate students to set up lofty ideals, guide students to look forward to flying in the blue sky when they grow up, stimulate students' strong interest in learning art, make full use of tape recorders to play the sound of plane flight, attract students, create a relaxed and good teaching environment for students, and let students experience the making of plane models and let their works fly in the air. In the process of harmonious experiential learning, students not only have great fun in learning, but also gain success and joy in making airplane models.
Fourth, combine learning with application to enhance the subjective consciousness.
The art appreciation class in junior high school can't just stay on appreciating the works, but also need to carry out creative independent design on the basis of understanding and mastering the knowledge learned, so that students can give full play to their innovative ability and intelligence.
In art teaching, I allow students to play freely, and students can play freely according to the main points I have said. In a class exercise, I asked students to draw sketches of their classmates. The students are full of enthusiasm, using different painting tools and different description methods, and are very serious. Although some brushwork is very immature, it can grasp the characteristics of the object; Some sketches of characters are very delicate; Some sketches are very exaggerated ... the art class is very active, because the whole process is completed by students independently.
As a kind of space art, art is mainly conveyed to people through visual factors such as color and shape, so it is intuitive, and it is easier to stimulate people's interest in learning than rational and abstract subjects such as mathematics, physics, language and writing. Art education plays an important role in all aspects of our social environment. In teaching practice, I deeply realize that to improve students' aesthetic and artistic quality, we must break the traditional "teaching-oriented" injection mode, abandon teacher-centered education, advocate teacher-led and student-centered "learning-oriented" interactive education, actively explore students' ideas, actively explore knowledge, and enhance students' independent ability and innovative consciousness, so as to receive better artistic education effects.
