An accurate understanding of the current situation and problems affecting the growth and success of college students is helpful for colleges and universities to formulate effective measures and methods to improve the growth and success level of college students. By using the self-designed questionnaire on influencing factors of college students' growth and success, 500 undergraduates of Yunnan Agricultural University were randomly investigated, and the internal and external factors affecting college students' growth and success were analyzed and studied. The data is processed by Excel. The survey found that there are still obvious problems in the personality and psychological factors of contemporary college students, such as weak willpower, weak teamwork spirit, insufficient endurance and low interest in learning. College students have strong self-thinking and decision-making ability, but at the same time they are very vulnerable to interference and fluctuation; The most important channels of emotional appeal are friends and parents, and the distribution of friends decreases with the expansion of space; They have strong subjective learning needs for social practice, professional skills and interpersonal relationships; Campus factors, social factors and media factors have strong overlapping, complementary and adjustment functions.

The research on the factors affecting the growth of college students has always been concerned by higher education workers and all walks of life. From the school's point of view, there are three main research directions: first, micro-analysis, that is, in-depth and detailed study of its impact on the growth of college students from specific aspects, such as: "College students' interpersonal communication has a very important impact on their growth, personality improvement and socialization" [1], "Emotional factors have an important impact on their study, physical and mental health, self-growth, interpersonal communication and the realization of behavioral goals. The second is macro-analysis, that is, through the comprehensive arrangement and analysis of the factors affecting the growth of college students, the key factors affecting the growth of college students are obtained, and countermeasures and suggestions are put forward. For example, "there are obviously two kinds of motivation in the incentive mechanism for college students to learn to become talents: one is the internal motivation system dominated by various non-intellectual factors; The second is an external power system with various social and environmental factors as its content. " [4] "Non-intelligence factors mainly include motivation, interest, emotion, will and personality, which play a driving and guiding role in college students' learning, activities and behavior." [5] Third, empirical research, due to the complexity and variety of factors involved, mutual influence and subjective preferences of investigators, it is easy to form a lack of standardization and comprehensiveness in factor classification, and the proposed measures will be weakened and superficial due to the lack of internal logical connections. This paper attempts to integrate and classify the first two research methods, and designs a questionnaire on the positive factors that affect the growth and success of contemporary college students, in order to conduct a comprehensive investigation and analysis on the current situation of the factors that affect the growth and success of contemporary college students from the perspective of the school, and put forward effective rationalization countermeasures.
I. Overview of the survey
This survey is based on a self-designed questionnaire, involving internal systemic factors such as values, personality, willpower and emotions, as well as external systemic factors such as family, media, school and society, which affect the growth of college students. Involving agronomy, engineering, humanities, economics, management and other majors, 432 valid questionnaires were collected.

1. Personality factor. Including emotional state, self-control, self-confidence, willpower, endurance, teamwork spirit and so on. Through the investigation, it is found that the overall personality factors of college students are positive, positive and optimistic, and 53.47% of the respondents think they are strong and brave; 27.78% students think they have strong willpower, and 45.83% students think they have strong willpower; 59.03% students can actively seek collaborators when facing things that one person can't complete, and have strong team spirit; In the face of things they don't like, only 20.37% students choose to object directly, and the tolerance is acceptable. But at the same time, we also find that there are many points worthy of our attention in the personality factors of college students: 20.6% students think they are irritable and impulsive, 12.03% students think they are timid, inferior and lack self-control and self-confidence; 26.3% students think that their willpower is weak; In terms of teamwork, nearly 40% students are unwilling and try to avoid looking for collaborators; From the perspective of tolerance, only 28.93% students can accept what they don't like and think about the reasons for their existence.
2. Life goals and directions. Understanding college students' life goals and directions is conducive to the education of "three views" for college students according to the actual situation. Through the investigation, it is found that 7 1.53% students choose to have clear life goals, and the formation time of life goals is 23. 15% in junior high school, 4 1.67% in senior high school and 35. 18% in university. Self-awareness of life goals is firm 17.59%. This shows that college students have strong self-thinking and decision-making ability, and at the same time they are easily disturbed and fluctuated. When choosing the direction of future efforts, social experience accumulated 4 1.44%, professional skills improved to 28.7%, interpersonal relationship improved to 18.52%, competition awareness improved to 6.48%, and others improved to 4.86%. The first three options are the contents that college students have strong learning needs. Generally speaking, college students have strong independent thinking ability and decision-making ability, and also have a very positive attitude and motivation to join the WTO. But at the same time, their goals, attitudes and motives are still very unstable and easily disturbed and influenced. This requires us to integrate positive, positive and three-view education in line with national interests with national and collective interests on the basis of meeting their learning needs.
3. The object of emotional appeal. For college students who are about to be truly independent and in their youth, the influence of emotion is great. Understanding the channels of college students' emotional demands is of great reference value for grasping and solving college students' emotional problems. Through the investigation, it is found that when they are confused and helpless, the proportion of college students' confidants is: friends 43.06%, parents 17.36%, themselves 14.35%, brothers and sisters 12.04%, teachers 10.65%, 438+. This shows that college students have a strong sense of emotional independence. When facing emotional problems, most of them choose their close friends as the objects to talk to or solve by themselves. In the choice of "Who's your best friend", 30.56% choose roommates in the same dormitory, 2 1.3% are classmates, 13.66% are alumni of the same school, and nearly 66% come from the same school. This shows that the university is the main place for college students to make friends and sow friendship, and with the expansion of space and time in the same school, the scope and number of good friends are gradually shrinking.
4. The matching degree of learning motivation and interest. What is your motivation to study hard and get good exam results? In the choice, 5 1.62% chose to find a good job, 18.29% chose to be worthy of parents, 15.28% chose to get a diploma, and 14.8 1% chose to fight for a scholarship. Among the major choices, 37.96% are based on self-interest, 2 1.3% are based on parents' wishes, 1.65, 438+0.65, 438+0.65, 438+0% are based on others' opinions, and 29.63% are irreplaceable. More than half of the students choose employment as their biggest learning motivation, which reflects that college students have entered the stage of popular education with the deepening of marketization, and their sense of competition is strengthened and their sense of self-reliance and self-improvement is strong; 18.29% students chose to be honest with their parents, which shows that meeting family expectations also affects college students' learning motivation to some extent. The current situation of low professional interest will lead to poor learning effect, reduce the initiative of continuous research and reduce the possibility of becoming a professional in this field.
(2) External cause system
1. family. What do you think is the biggest factor affecting your growth? In the choice of a topic, family accounts for 52.54%, school accounts for 20. 13%, society accounts for 13.65%, individual accounts for11%,and media accounts for1.. It can be seen that family plays a very important role in the growth and success of college students. Among the family members, parents account for 64.8 1%, peers account for 65.438+08.29%, relatives account for 65.438+0 1.8 1%, and others account for 5.09%. It can be seen that parents are one of the key factors that can affect the growth and success of college students. Their influence on children involves personality, learning motivation, professional choice, emotion and so on.
2. School factors. Campus cultural atmosphere, study style, living environment, teachers and classmates' roommates, community organizations, supporting facilities and social practice will all have an impact on college students. Among the factors that affect the school, the academic atmosphere on campus accounts for 4 1.20%, the living environment of the school accounts for 3 1.25%, the campus cultural activities account for 17.82%, and the school staff accounts for 9.73%. In the survey of who can influence college students most, 44.68% choose classmates or friends, 15.74% choose roommates, 14.8 1% choose class teachers or counselors, 13.66% choose classroom teachers,1/kloc. In the survey of college students' favorite activities in their spare time, 3 1.7 1% chose reading, 18.52% chose club activities, 17.59% chose surfing the internet, 14.58% chose to attend class reunion, and 9.26%. In the survey of students' participation in school social practice, 48.38% people benefited a lot from their active participation, 30.09% people gained little from their active participation, 13.66% people got nothing from dealing with things, and 7.87% people were too lazy to participate. Generally speaking, students basically occupy most of their time in school study and life, and the influence of the atmosphere of the campus environment is very important to them.
3. Media factors. With the progress of society and science and technology, the forms of media are becoming more and more diversified, mainly including movies, television, radio, newspapers and books, celebrity stories, the Internet and so on. According to the answers to the questionnaire on the influence of media on college students, the influence of the above media factors on college students is: movies, TV and radio 45. 14%, books, magazines and newspapers 23. 15%, celebrity stories1.81.
4. Social factors. We choose material, moral, interpersonal communication and employment as options to examine the influence of college students. The results are as follows: interpersonal communication is 39. 12%, social atmosphere (such as ethics) is 32.87%, employment pressure is 17.36%, and material aspect is 10.65%. Interpersonal communication and social atmosphere are more important factors for college students. For college students who are about to enter the society, the understanding of society is first of all the understanding of people. From a simple family environment to an independent university campus, interpersonal communication has become the first topic for college students to know people and society.
Through the above investigation and analysis, we find that college students have good conditions and environment on the road to success, but at the same time, there are some problems and characteristics in internal and external conditions and environment, which deserve our attention and utilization. First, there are obvious problems in the personality and psychological factors of contemporary college students, such as weak willpower, weak teamwork spirit, insufficient endurance and low interest in learning. Second, college students have strong self-thinking and decision-making ability, but at the same time they are very vulnerable to interference and fluctuation; Thirdly, the main channels of college students' emotional appeal are friends and parents, and the distribution of friends decreases with the expansion of space; Fourth, there is a strong subjective learning demand for social practice, professional skills and interpersonal relationships; Fifth, campus factors, social factors and media factors have a very strong overlapping, complementary and regulatory role.
Three. Countermeasures and suggestions
Because there are many and complicated factors that affect the growth and success of college students, both internal and external factors will affect the growth and success of college students. The final change of a person's behavior occurs from the inside out, that is to say, in order to make more college students become adults faster, they must change their internal subjective motivation factors. Good personality, excellent moral quality, healthy mood, emotional state, lifestyle and hobbies, strong self-control, self-confidence, willpower, tolerance and teamwork spirit, positive learning motivation and life values that meet the requirements and interests of the times and the country are all indispensable factors for college students to grow into talents. Colleges and universities, which shoulder the heavy responsibility of college students' growth and talent cultivation, must take the school as the starting point according to the present situation and characteristics of internal and external factors that affect college students, integrate and build corresponding bridges between all external factors and internal factors, and cultivate, edify, educate and influence college students' internal psychology, thinking, quality, motivation and behavior through the intervention of external factors, so as to help them grow into talents. In order to achieve this goal, the author believes that colleges and universities should focus on the following aspects:
1. Pay attention to students' psychology, encourage and create conditions for students to participate in activities that will help improve their character strengths. College students are at a critical moment from adolescence to maturity, and the formation of good character is very important at this stage. This requires us to fully realize the importance of cultivating college students' good character in daily teaching and life management, continue to pay attention to students' psychological status, actively explore and create effective working methods and measures, and exert a subtle influence and education on college students. Encouraging and creating conditions for students to participate in sports activities and outward bound training can effectively improve their self-control, self-confidence, willpower, team spirit, endurance and character strengths's activities, and lay a solid personality and psychological foundation for the growth and success of college students.
2. Innovate the traditional mode of "three views" education and enhance the influence of "three views" education in colleges and universities. Generally speaking, college students have strong independent thinking ability and decision-making ability, and also have a very positive attitude and motivation to join the WTO. However, at the same time, their goals, attitudes and motives are still very unstable and easily disturbed and influenced, which requires us higher education workers to always meet their greatest demand for learning content. Actively, positively and in line with national interests, ideological and political education, sansheng education and the cultivation of socialist core values run through the education of world outlook, outlook on life and values, and take the combination with students' self-growth and talent demand as the guiding ideology to innovate ideological and political education, help promote college students' goal pursuit and direction in line with national and collective interests, organically combine the three, and effectively stimulate the power source function of college students' own world outlook, outlook on life and values.
3. Pay attention to the influence of emotional factors on college students, and actively carry out the construction of school spirit, class spirit, school spirit and home-school contact system. Through the analysis of the channels of college students' emotional appeal, we know that college students' emotional dependence is mainly friends, parents, themselves, brothers and sisters and teachers, and the main sources of good friends are roommates, classmates and alumni, which puts forward higher requirements for school spirit, class spirit and school spirit construction. Building good school spirit, class spirit and school spirit is an important means to promote the mutual benign influence among college students. By establishing a positive atmosphere in schools, classes and dormitories, individuals are positively influenced and edified in the micro-channel of emotional appeal. Family factors, especially the influence of parents and guardians in the family, have an objective effect on the growth and success of college students, and it is also an aspect that we must pay attention to. This requires us to fully consider the role and effect brought by family factors when managing and educating students, actively build a platform for home-school communication and dialogue at all levels, find out the problems existing in the process of college students' growth in time, and carry out effective psychological and behavioral intervention and education for college students to help them realize their life value and healthy growth as soon as possible.
4. Pay attention to students' needs and guide the development of quality and ability education. Social experience, professional skills and interpersonal relationships are the natural learning needs of college students' independent development in the competitive era. How to improve students' social experience, professional skills and interpersonal skills by combining the characteristics of the times and students' needs largely determines the speed and effect of college students' growth. This requires us to fully consider and increase the skills and methods of social communication, psychology, professional skills and interpersonal communication in social practice and professional education; Formally, for students of different audiences and ages, various quality and ability improvement activities such as elective courses, extra-curricular special counseling, lectures, theme class meetings, peer education, and game competitions are carried out. This can not only meet the needs of students, but also deepen the advantages and characteristics of the school's inherent social practice and professional education, form a benign interaction and development, and truly improve the quality and ability of students from the needs of students.
5. Make full use of campus resources and actively guide social media factors. The university campus is a place where college students study and live for nearly three and a half years, and it is also an open and inclusive place. We can't completely block the society and the media, but we can use science, reason and speculation to precipitate it and use it for our own use. On the one hand, on the basis of giving full consideration to students' cognitive characteristics, we should strengthen the construction of campus cultural atmosphere, improve the living environment, upgrade the teaching staff, organize and manage associations and improve supporting facilities. On the one hand, we should take an evasive attitude towards various hot issues in society and media, actively build a platform for discussion and speculation, and let students learn to judge and criticize with a scientific and rational attitude. On the other hand, it is necessary to strengthen the supervision of all kinds of thoughts, behaviors and attitudes that are not conducive to college students' psychological and age tolerance. The purpose is to improve a good campus environment for college students to grow into talents.
