At present, the College of Liberal Arts has two undergraduate majors, namely Chinese language and literature and secretarial studies, and another major, namely Chinese education.

The major of Chinese language and literature has a history of more than 30 years, and it was one of the first majors in Hulunbeier College in 2003.

There are 40 faculty members (including 2 external teachers) in the College of Liberal Arts, including 6 professors, 4 associate professors/kloc-0, 24 masters and 24 doctors/kloc-0.

In the past five years, teachers have published more than 200 teaching and research papers, including 40 national and core journals, 6 textbooks and monographs 1, and undertaken more than 20 national research projects1.

The College of Literature has four teaching departments: China Language and Literature Department, Secretary Department, Chinese Education Department and Experimental Training Center.

The college has practice teaching places such as reference room, small theater and comprehensive training room, and Hulunbeier has 12 practice training base.
