Volleyball techniques are varied, and usually the cushion, passing, serving, spiking and blocking are called five basic techniques. Among them, the most basic techniques are cushion ball, frontal pass, overhand float ball, frontal spike and single block. In addition to the five basic techniques, there are several non-ball techniques such as general preparation posture, various moving footwork and take-off. Volleyball techniques are classified as follows, and each basic technique is divided into many different technical movements.
