Abstract: GPS-RTK, as a real-time measurement and positioning technology, has been widely used. However, because the measured elevation is based on WGS-84 international reference ellipsoid, and the actual measurement in China is based on quasi-geoid, how to determine the difference (elevation anomaly) between the two datum planes has become the bottleneck for the application and popularization of GPS-RTK in China. This paper discusses the use of GPS-RTK to determine the elevation of different areas.
