These dazzling agricultural products, while showing China's brand agriculture and precision agriculture, have a perspective, that is, in the past 30 years of reform and opening up, China has embarked on a road of characteristic agricultural modernization by exploring agricultural industrialization, science and technology, and standardization.
Industrialization: Breaking the Ice in Production and Management
"A big province of grain, animal husbandry, horticulture and aquatic products" is the outstanding feature and theme of Shandong Pavilion of this year's Agricultural Fair. In the exhibition hall, the reporter learned that after 30 years of reform and development, Shandong's comprehensive agricultural output capacity has been continuously enhanced, the total agricultural output value has increased by more than 30 times, and the grain output has continuously crossed three steps of 30 billion, 35 billion and 40 billion kilograms. While stabilizing grain production, we will break through the single management pattern, actively adjust the planting structure, and vigorously develop high-efficiency cash crops such as vegetables and fruits.
In the past 30 years of reform and opening up, China's agricultural industrialization and agricultural product processing industry have developed rapidly. By the end of 2007, all kinds of agricultural industrialization organizations in China had driven 95 1 100 households, accounting for 38.4% of the total number of farmers in China. At the same time, China has initially formed a number of unique agricultural products processing zones, including dairy products, meat and cashmere processing in Inner Mongolia, rice processing in Heilongjiang and Hunan, tea processing in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Fujian, and grape and tomato processing in Xinjiang, Beijing, Tianjin and Shanghai.
Science and technology: the ladder of high grain yield
In the exhibition hall of Heilongjiang, the exhibition of agricultural scientific and technological achievements of the Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences attracted many visitors to stop and watch, and the corn and soybean seeds cultivated in different periods were crowded.
In the corner of the exhibition hall, "the paper is written on the earth, and the results remain in the farmhouse" vividly reflects the great changes brought by science and technology to the countryside in the past few decades.
Heilongjiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences has also introduced a market-oriented mechanism for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and cooperated with leading enterprises to expand the platform for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements. Since 2000, more than 100 new varieties have entered the farmland of the Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and the planting area of these varieties in Heilongjiang has reached more than 80%.
Scientific and technological progress is the decisive force of modern agricultural construction. Since the founding of New China, especially since the reform and opening up more than 30 years ago, China's agricultural science and technology has made great breakthroughs in a series of major core technologies such as hybrid rice, hybrid corn, transgenic insect-resistant cotton and hybrid rape. At the same time, the popularization and application of a large number of achievements, such as variety improvement, major cultivation techniques and integrated pest control, supported the national grain output to increase from 304.77 million tons in 1978 to 50 107.
Standardization: the "shield" of food safety
The fiery Hami jujube, bright green pears, bright yellow apricots and mellow purple grapes make the booths in Xinjiang exhibition area look very lively and attract many consumers and buyers. "The biggest advantage of our agricultural products is that the quality is guaranteed, so that everyone can eat with confidence." Seeing that the booth he was in charge of was very popular, Wen Qimu, a staff member of Xinjiang Agriculture Department, showed a simple smile on his face.
In recent years, the quality and safety level of agricultural products in China has been continuously improved. It is understood that at present, China has built 4 139 national and provincial agricultural standardization demonstration zones, with a standardized demonstration area of more than 500 million mu. The routine monitoring scope of agricultural product quality and safety has been extended to the monitoring of pesticide residues in vegetables in 37 large and medium-sized cities, clenbuterol in livestock products in 36 cities and drug residues in aquatic products in 22 cities. It is understood that the products exhibited at this year's Agricultural Fair are all brand-name agricultural products that have obtained national pollution-free agricultural products certification, green food certification or organic agricultural products certification.
