I remember not long ago, I was bored at home, so I found a book to read. Inadvertently, I glanced at the poem "Self-mockery" written by Mr. Lu Xun out of the corner of my eye. Out of curiosity, I picked it up and looked at it. The poem "Self-mockery" mainly tells the story of Mr. Lu Xun's slouches. Now that I think about it, it probably means: how can I want to have something satisfactory if I am unlucky? I don't even dare to turn over in bed, and I will bump my head against the wall. Therefore, walking in the street with a broken hat to cover your face low, for fear of being seen by others-inviting trouble. I am like the wine in a leaky boat, spinning in the rapids in the center of the lake, and I am in danger of being swallowed up by the lake at any time. I'm not welcome. Many people criticize me, scold me and curse me. I should have died without illness, but I looked at others' accusations coldly and was willing to contribute to the people. However, I am timid when I am scolded by others. As long as I have a small building to live in, hiding in it will become a unified country, regardless of spring, summer, autumn and winter.
After reading this poem, I felt the darkness of the government at that time and Mr. Lu Xun's helplessness, and also realized Mr. Lu Xun's selfless and lofty spirit. Mr. Lu Xun is not only brilliant, but also often cares about working people and progressive youth. Although he passed away, his spirit will live in our hearts forever.
