What are the hazards of crab tremor?
Public trust. Zhongxin. com, Nanjing, September 30 (Wang,) In recent years, the serious disease of river crabs, commonly known as "crab shake disease", has attracted the attention of scientists at home and abroad because of its mortality rate as high as 70%-100%. Professor Wang Wen's team from the School of Life Sciences of Nanjing Normal University has studied this problem for 15 years, and achieved a series of original achievements, so that the incidence of this disease is controlled below 3%. It is understood that Eriocheir sinensis (commonly known as Eriocheir sinensis or crab) is an important aquaculture species in China and an important pillar industry in Jiangsu Province. The annual output value of Jiangsu Province alone exceeds 20 billion. However, aquatic diseases hinder the sustainable development of aquaculture. The main disease of Eriocheir sinensis, "trembling disease", has an incidence rate of 30% and a mortality rate of 70%- 100%. Dead crabs piled up at the onset, and farmers wanted to cry without tears! Bring great losses to the industry. In 2008, the disease was listed in the list of animal diseases by the Ministry of Agriculture. The team of Professor Wang Wen from the School of Life Sciences of Nanjing Normal University focused on this difficult problem that needs to be solved urgently in actual production. After 15 years of exploration and research, it is clear that a new type of aquatic pathogen-snail can cause "trembling disease" of river crabs. This is the first time in the world that snails have been found in aquatic crustaceans and water environment, which has attracted wide attention from colleagues at home and abroad. Professor Wang Wen, as the chairman and guest speaker of the branch, has participated in many international conferences and was invited to write a summary for internationally renowned journals. As the only Asian member, she was invited to join the drafting committee of international snail classification standard and was elected as the executive director of Asian Mycoplasma Society. For more than ten years, with the support of Spark Program of Ministry of Science and Technology, National Natural Science Foundation, Jiangsu Science and Technology Department, Jiangsu Ocean and Fisheries Bureau and Jiangsu Education Department, the research team has established a systematic research system from basic research to core technology to application around the discovery of this new aquatic pathogen, and has achieved a series of original achievements, and published 40 SCI papers, including 2 international1. Authorized 3 utility model patents; Formulate technical specifications for aquaculture disease prediction; A rapid diagnosis technology for snail disease in Eriocheir sinensis was established, a rapid detection kit for snail disease was developed, targeted high-efficiency and low-toxicity antibacterial drugs were screened, and an effective comprehensive prevention and control technology for snail disease in Eriocheir sinensis was established, which was mainly demonstrated and applied in Nanjing, Baoying, Gaoyou, Jurong, Xinghua, Changzhou, Sihong, Suzhou and other cities and counties, and was popularized and applied in other cities and counties in Jiangsu Province and Anhui, Hubei, Shandong, Guangzhou and other places. It is reported that, in view of the positive contribution of the research results to the sustainable development of aquaculture and local economy in China, the research and prevention of onychomycosis of Eriocheir sinensis by Professor Wang Wen recently won the second prize of China Agricultural Science and Technology Award on 20 14-20 15.
