Yantai Gold Vocational College is a full-time general higher vocational college approved by the Shandong Provincial People's Government and filed by the Ministry of Education. It was established with the investment of Zhao Jin Group, a large state-owned enterprise. The address of the college is located at No.996 Jinhai Avenue, Zhaoyuan Binhai New Area, Yantai City, Shandong Province. It was established by the Education Department of Shandong Province as the first batch of comprehensive evaluation enrollment pilot colleges and independent enrollment colleges in Shandong Province.
As of February, 2023, official website shows that the planned campus of the college covers a total area of 1.700 mu, with nearly1.000 students, a library of more than 6,000 square meters and a collection of 393,000 books. There are 9 departments (colleges) 1 department, 35 majors and nearly 400 full-time and part-time teachers. There are 93 professional experimental training rooms and 1 comprehensive metalworking workshop in the school, and 15 off-campus training base.
As of February 2023, the College has obtained 8 patents, namely 5 utility model patents and 3 design patents. Among the published academic papers, there are 5 core Chinese papers in Peking University, 5 core scientific papers in China, EI papers 1, and EI conference papers 1. There are 3 horizontal scientific research projects and 8 vertical scientific research projects 1, among which the special scientific research project1of Shandong Higher Education Society has obtained scientific research funds, which is the first time that the school has obtained vertical scientific research projects above the provincial level.
