Established in April 2004, Hangzhou 13th Middle School Education Group (General School) is a full-time junior high school education entity that is compatible with both public and private school systems. The headquarters of the Group is located at No.0/55, Jiaogong Road, Xihu District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It is a traditional cultural and educational area, with many universities, such as Laohang University, Hangzhou Normal University, Institute of Electronic Technology, Hangshang University, Silk Institute of Technology, Institute of Science and Technology, and School of Finance and Economics. It is also the location of Hangzhou No.13 Middle School, the largest campus of the Group, with 40 classes and 1889 students. From here, next to the West Lake District Court of Wen 'er Road, is another modern boarding private school of Education Group-Hangzhou Public Welfare Middle School, with 24 classes and 999 students. Cross Wensan Street to Fengtan Road, the rookie Fengtan Middle School of Education Group, with 26 classes and 959 students. Three schools, like three pearls, are scattered in the beautiful West Lake District, writing stories in the history of education in Hangzhou. Before 2000, Hangzhou No.13 Middle School (the middle school affiliated to Hangzhou Normal University) was a provincial key middle school, mainly running high schools. After the separation of senior high schools in early 2000, Hangzhou 13th Middle School Education Group was established, which is one of the earliest collectivized schools in Hangzhou. Today's Hangzhou No.13 Middle School Education Group can really be called the educational carrier of Hang Cheng. Statistics show that one of the 9- 10 freshmen admitted to eight first-class key middle schools in Hang Cheng is from No.13 Middle School Education Group. According to incomplete statistics, among the graduates in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006, 25 students studied in Peking University, 12 students studied in Tsinghua University, and 15 students studied in the University of Hong Kong.
