The purpose of selecting the motor is to make full use of the motor as far as possible under the premise of meeting the load requirements of production machinery. Excessive motor power not only increases equipment investment, but also makes the motor run with load, with low efficiency and power factor, high operating cost and extremely uneconomical; On the other hand, if the motor power is too small, the motor will be overloaded, causing the motor to overheat and damage prematurely. If the power is too small, it is generally difficult to meet the requirements of impact load and start. Therefore, it is very necessary to choose the rated power of the motor reasonably.

This design is the selection of motor and the verification of various abilities, which is divided into two parts. The first part is the theoretical knowledge of motor selection, and the second part is the theoretical calculation and verification of motor selection.
