If the reviewer has doubts about the authenticity of the data, he will ask the author to provide the original data. Some journals require authors to provide original data when submitting articles.

The auditor's work content:

If any invited reviewer feels that he is not qualified for reviewing this manuscript, or knows that he can't finish reviewing the manuscript within the agreed time, he needs to inform the editor immediately so that the editor can contact the new reviewer.

Any manuscript received by the reviewer must be regarded as confidential and shall not be displayed or discussed to others without the authorization of the editor.

Reviewers need to identify relevant content that appears in published articles but is not quoted by the author. Reviewers need to draw the editor's attention to the content in the manuscript that is similar or overlapping with the published data.
