What's the difference between C journals and core journals?
Journal C, the full name of CSSCI, is the English abbreviation of "Citation Index of Chinese Social Sciences" and is an authoritative periodical evaluation system in China. It is selected every two years by China Social Science Research and Evaluation Center of Nanjing University. The selection criteria of "C Magazine" are mainly based on influencing factors, academic level, editorial quality and other indicators. For the papers published in journal C, academic recognition is high.

Core journals are evaluated according to impact factors, cited frequency, download volume and other indicators, and are usually divided into national, provincial and core levels. The academic recognition of core journals is also high, but compared with C journals, its academic value is slightly inferior.
