The Miao nationality in Duyun celebrated June 6th in the local Godot Miao Village. There is an old legend that can trace its origin. However, one year, when they went to the mountains to collect herbs again, they were told by the old Wang Si toast officials that they were not allowed to collect herbs here. Dissatisfied with the oppression of loyalists, two Wang Yao invited all villagers to Zaoqiu to discuss the uprising in the name of collecting herbs on the sixth day of the sixth lunar month, but the uprising failed for unknown reasons.
After the death of the two Miao medicine kings, it was the year of Dinghai in the Qing Dynasty (1647), and it was also the sixth day of the sixth lunar month. Two Miao leaders, Liu Tiancheng and Lu Hengde, joined forces to resist. They fought Dushan and Guiyang and occupied Duyun Prefecture for three years. In order to commemorate these Miao heroes, future generations gather Miao compatriots to hold a mass rally in the back mountain of Geduzhai every year on the sixth day of the sixth lunar month, which gradually evolved into the current Miao "June 6" activity with the passage of time.
On June 6th, Duyun Miao changed its activity address several times in its history. The first session was held in Zhaozishan, and moved to Miaozhai, Yang Ya in the late Qing Dynasty, and moved to Liushuluanpo, Muyu Village in the 20th year of the Republic of China. 1994 and 1995 were held twice on the "pendulum mountain" opposite Geduozhai. In 2009, he moved to Xinchang village once. Over the years, the activities on June 6th include offering sacrifices to bridges, singing Miao songs, dancing Miao dances and performing Miao weddings.
