As a new modern teaching method, multimedia teaching has been welcomed by teachers and students, but there are still many shortcomings to be solved in practice. This paper analyzes the problems existing in multimedia teaching in our school at present, and puts forward corresponding solutions.

With the continuous progress of science and technology, multimedia technology is more and more widely used in the teaching field. As a new teaching method, multimedia teaching has an important influence on modern teaching mode, teaching method and teaching theory with its characteristics of illustrated pictures, good audio-visual image, dynamic and static combination and rich information. However, there are also some problems in the practice of multimedia teaching for many years. How to correctly analyze and solve these problems has become an urgent task to improve the teaching quality in our school.
I. Existing problems
(A) the negative impact of multimedia teaching on teachers and students
First of all, teachers ignore the training of basic teaching skills. Most teachers who use multimedia teaching methods in our school are young teachers. Some teachers use their own computer knowledge to overemphasize the skills of courseware making and the show-off form of courseware, and no longer pay attention to the training of basic teaching skills, so the classroom adaptability is poor. They rely too much on pre-made courseware and don't pay attention to the practice of teaching content before class. Once the computer is abnormal, normal teaching activities cannot be carried out. Some teachers begin to read pre-made courseware as soon as class begins and act as commentators. As a result, the communication between teachers and students is greatly reduced, which seriously affects the teaching effect.
Secondly, due to the large amount of information and high speed of multimedia teaching, students do not have enough time to think about classroom questions, which is not conducive to the improvement of students' logical reasoning and argumentation ability; In the process of multimedia teaching, teachers' blackboard writing and classroom questioning are correspondingly reduced. Students are either busy copying notes, or attracted by colorful and changeable pictures, ignoring the teacher's explanation and unable to keep up with the teacher's ideas. At the same time, the multimedia teaching environment is dark, which makes students easily tired, thus affecting the teaching effect.
(B) the quality of multimedia courseware
The use of multimedia teaching is to better achieve the teaching purpose and improve the teaching quality. However, some teachers have many problems in courseware making:
1. Some teachers, lacking the guidance of modern teaching ideas and theories, only reproduce the contents of teaching materials through multimedia means, without the supplement of sound, images and animation, and without the latest information. The emphasis and difficulty of teaching are not prominent, and it is believed that the quality of teaching can be improved by using multimedia equipment.
2. Some teachers make courseware with insufficient topics, and some contents can achieve the best teaching effect by traditional teaching methods, but making multimedia courseware is counterproductive and affects the teaching effect.
3. The overall interface design of some teachers' courseware is unreasonable, such as too much content, too small font, chaotic punctuation, different font sizes, uncoordinated color matching and so on.
Problems in the use of multimedia equipment
As a new and advanced teaching mode, multimedia teaching has entered the classroom, and the school has invested a lot of money and energy in it. Relevant regulations are formulated for the use and maintenance of multimedia equipment to ensure that multimedia equipment can play its role efficiently. However, the phenomenon of equipment damage caused by teachers' illegal operation occurs from time to time: on the one hand, individual teachers are not skilled in equipment operation and do not understand the use procedures; On the other hand, it is caused by individual teachers' dereliction of duty and non-compliance. The damage of multimedia equipment has seriously affected the normal teaching order.
(D) The construction of multimedia teaching hardware lags behind.
With the acceleration of the promotion of multimedia teaching, due to various reasons, the hardware construction of multimedia teaching in our school is relatively backward. For example, the number of multimedia classrooms is insufficient, the capacity structure is unreasonable, and the multimedia teaching requirements of many teachers cannot be fully met, and the existing multimedia teaching equipment is aging. These problems have brought some problems to the teaching management department in curriculum arrangement and multimedia classroom management. In order to meet the teaching requirements of teachers as much as possible, we have to arrange courses all day, so that multimedia teaching equipment can be used day and night. This overloaded work rhythm accelerates the maintenance frequency and damage degree of equipment, directly affects the normal teaching order and forms a vicious circle.
Second, the solution
In order to make multimedia teaching play its best teaching effect, aiming at the above problems, the following solutions are put forward.
(A) to strengthen teacher training, improve the skills and level of multimedia teaching.
First of all, strengthen the training of teachers' basic teaching skills, make multimedia-assisted teaching and traditional teaching complement each other, and achieve the expected best teaching effect.
Secondly, in order to improve teachers' skills and level of using multimedia teaching, all departments should actively organize teachers to carry out multimedia teaching training, train modern teaching ideas and theories, use multimedia teaching equipment and make courseware, correctly handle the man-machine relationship, promote better communication and interaction between teachers and students, and enable relevant teachers to systematically understand and master the theory and skills of multimedia teaching.
(2) Strictly control the quality of multimedia courseware.
Improving teaching quality is the core of teaching work. In order to ensure the quality of multimedia teaching, the teaching management department formulates rules and regulations in line with the actual situation of our school, strictly controls multimedia teaching and ensures good quality. For example, each department needs to use multimedia in class, and the teacher submits a written application. The teaching management department of each department examines whether the teacher has the skills to use multimedia, including the modern educational ideas and technologies that the teacher should have, whether the course can achieve better teaching effect by using multimedia, and whether the courseware produced meets the requirements of multimedia teaching. Arranging courses after examination and approval by the Academic Affairs Office can strictly control the teaching quality of many media, greatly improve the teaching quality, and screen out some unqualified courseware to buffer the shortage of multimedia classrooms.
(C) to further strengthen the construction of multimedia teaching hardware
At present, although there are difficulties such as insufficient funds and teaching resources in our school, we should overcome all kinds of difficulties and obstacles, moderately strengthen the construction of multimedia teaching hardware, and let more teachers with multimedia teaching conditions use multimedia teaching equipment for teaching. In view of the unreasonable capacity of multimedia classrooms in our school at present, the classrooms are appropriately reformed, and single-class multimedia classrooms are added on the basis of not changing the original structure of the classrooms, so as to encourage teachers to teach multimedia in a single class. In this way, the time and place of teaching can be arranged more scientifically and reasonably, so that multimedia can better serve teaching and improve teaching quality.
In short, with the large-scale development of higher education, multimedia teaching is not only the trend of teaching development, but also a new educational concept. We should grasp the basic rules and requirements of multimedia technology in teaching, and truly control multimedia with a clear aim to make it play its due role in teaching.
