The importance of preschool education for special children.
Abstract: Preschool education, as the enlightenment stage of preschool children, is the key stage of individual cognition, emotion, socialization and the initial formation of personality, which has a great influence on children's lifelong development. In preschool education, preschool education for special children has its particularity compared with general education. It not only promotes the formation and development of thinking, language, emotion, communication, personality, attitude and values of special children, but also undertakes the important task of making up for the defects and obstacles of special children. This paper discusses the importance of preschool education for special children from three aspects: special children themselves, special children's families and society.

As an important basic stage of individual lifelong learning, preschool education plays an important role in the whole education system. Since China entered the stage of reform and opening up, especially after entering the 2 1 century, general preschool education has received great attention and gradually spread. However, the special preschool education, which plays an important role in preschool education, has not been developed correspondingly, and its popularity is far behind that of ordinary preschool education. Therefore, the Outline of the National Medium-and Long-Term Education Reform and Development Plan (20 10 ~ 2020) clearly puts forward that while paying attention to special education, efforts should be made to develop preschool education. 1October 24th 20 10, 165438 "Several Opinions of the State Council on the Current Development of Preschool Education" was published. Therefore, we should strive to seize this opportunity, vigorously develop preschool education for special children, and promote the scientific and sustainable development of preschool education and special education.
First, the importance of preschool education to special children themselves.
Preschool education for special children can promote their own growth and development. Preschool period is the most important and crucial period for children's personality, mood, emotion, behavior habit, sociality and cognitive development. If children can get reasonable and scientific guidance and education during this period, it will have a great impact on their lives. Many studies show that the earlier education is carried out, the easier it is to achieve good educational results. The importance of preschool education for special children is mainly manifested in the following three points:
1. Judging from the injuries and obstacles of special children. Preschool education for special children is conducive to their early intervention and early rehabilitation. As we all know, the sooner we find and treat disabled children, the better the treatment effect will be. Early intervention can reduce the damage of some disabled children and even make them recover to the same level as normal children. Similarly, the earlier the education for special children, the better. Research shows that 0 ~ 6 years old is a critical period for individual cognitive and thinking development, and preschool education, as the most important enlightenment stage of life, can lay a solid foundation for future study and development. If there is no scientific and effective preschool guidance and education for special children, coupled with their own defects and obstacles, it will greatly hinder their future cognitive development of mainstream society. Through some educational means, such as creating communicative situations, it can greatly promote the benign development of cognitive abilities of special children such as thinking, imagination, language, memory and perception.
3. From the socialization of special children. Even special children should enjoy the same right to education as normal children. Educational equity is an important foundation to realize social equity, and having equal educational opportunities is the starting point to realize educational equity. Therefore, vigorously developing preschool education for special children is conducive to achieving the goal of educational equity.
2. Preschool education for special children can improve the quality of special education. At present, a large number of special children in the first grade of special education schools in China have not received preschool education, and some of them lack language foundation and basic life experience and attempts. Special schools can only start with the most basic preschool education, and also need related rehabilitation training to correct and make up for their own shortcomings. The learning ability and acceptance of special children are affected by their disabilities, and because of the lack of preschool education, they have to learn more, so their development level is lower than that of normal children. If we can provide good preschool education for special children before school and lay a foundation for their future study and development, they will not work so hard in the compulsory education stage and the quality of special education will be improved.
