At the age of twelve, his parents sent him to study abroad. At this time, the master read a lot of Confucian books, devoted himself to understanding the importance of things, respected caution, and was proud of it, taking it as his duty to inherit Confucian orthodoxy. He not only wrote dozens of heroic papers criticizing Buddhism, but also began to drink and eat meat when he was a vegetarian, and he was a vegetarian for a long time. This move really surprised parents! If it were today, I'm afraid my parents would have been chasing around in frustration.

Devote oneself to Buddhism and drown all sects.

However, Master Hu Yi's parents are reasonable after all. Mother's strict instruction, and because of an accidental opportunity to read master lianchi's "Self-knowledge Record Preface" and "Bamboo Window Essays", she suddenly repented, never slandered Buddhism again, and burned all the previous Buddhist manuscripts.

At the age of 20, Confucius replied to Yan Yuan in the Interpretation of the Analects of Confucius and Yan Yuan: "Self-denial and self-denial are benevolence, one day, and the world belongs to benevolence! Benevolence depends on itself, but on others! " I was suspicious of the saying that "the world belongs to benevolence", and then Sophora flavescens made a study, unable to write, and forgot to eat and sleep for three days and three nights, and realized Kong Yan's heart.

However, at this time, my father died unfortunately, and the master recited the Tripitaka for his father, giving birth to a monk's heart.

Later, I heard a mage say that "the world is empty" in the Shurangama Sutra. When you have a great sense of emptiness, you wonder why you have such a great sense of emptiness. You can make arrangements for the empty world in advance, so you are bored and at a loss. Then I decided to become a monk and study life and death.

In the second year of the apocalypse, I dreamed of Master Hanshan three times in January, crying that the fate was shallow and I met him late. I wanted to become a monk with Master Han, but it was a long way, so I named Xu Zhi after Ling Xue, the great-grandfather of Master Han.

After becoming a monk, the master was like a duck to water, feasting on Buddhist nectar and studying deeply under the teachings of Zongmen. The next summer, I meditated in Jingshan, Yuhang, and my body and mind suddenly became enlightened. Knowing that this body came from nowhere, it was born in the right place and disappeared everywhere, but the shadow of firm delusion can't be missed for a moment. It really wasn't born by parents. Since then, there have been two sexual stages, and they are completely together; All classics, Zen case-solving, have been there before. Then I realized that this realm was not a holy witness, so I never spoke. After a long time, my chest is empty. This realm is the "fame" in the "six rectifications" of Tiantai.

At the age of twenty-eight, my mother was seriously ill, and my master came home to personally bring the soup and medicine, and cut her body four times to make medicine introduction, hoping that this filial piety would increase her happiness and prolong her life. However, my mother died in the end. After the funeral, I went to a deep mountain retreat and lived in pure land with Zen.

At that time, seeing that the precepts were declining, the master read the law three times to correct it. Although he has a deep understanding of precepts, he has a strong habit of feeling ashamed, being troublesome and not practicing, so he has never given it to anyone in his life.

At the age of 32, the master went to the rooftop to study the heart of Taiwan Province. The idea of Tiantai Sect was used to save the disadvantages of Zen Buddhism, and the wisdom required five monks to live in the world as the law, so that Buddhism could be revived.

Determined to be safe and healthy, aspiring to the west.

Two years, the master is fifty years old. One day, he said to Master Shicheng, "I used to want to restore the precepts of monks, but in recent years I have been thinking about living in the West. Master Shicheng was very surprised. Later, I learned that the master made a great bodhi wish at home, and later worked hard all his life to save the holy religion.

After Jingshan's enlightenment, he fully realized the morbidness of modern meditators. Now he has no right knowledge, no more knowledge, no respect for Borotti Mu Cha, and no warning. Therefore, the word "Zen" is erased, and the power is to stop teaching and save. Knowing makes the five monks live like Dharma and revives Buddhism. Never get it in the future. Then I went west with all my heart, hoping to take the wheel of this wish, hit the power of a dozen Buddhas, and then come back and pull it out. As for writing books and giving speeches at any time, they are all talking about the fate of the reunion dinner. All beings in the lawless world have become Buddhists for a while, and they have always been directly corresponding and have a peaceful beginning.

With the change of this thinking, the master specialized in online business in his later years. In "Praise of Self-image", the master told himself: "Don't participate in meditation, don't learn to teach, a word from Amitabha is really necessary. Don't talk about Xuan, don't talk about Miao, count the beads and play a string of Zhen Feng songs. " The goal of chanting Buddha is determined as pure land, confessing to be false, washing the heart and cleaning the dirt, and sending it to Le Bang with shame. The master's personal statement is touching.

The words of the master, Prajna Paramita, all flowed from a complete sadness, which can be described as a heartfelt desire. Therefore, Shaman Hirohiko of Kyoto, Japan, said in the preface of the reissue of 1723 "Lingfeng Zonglun": "I also tasted that those who read Zonglun without bloodshed and tears will have no bodhicitta. Master Yin Guang, the thirteenth ancestor of Lian Zong, admires and appreciates Yanzu's "words and deeds, which transcend sects, and if he walks on a plate of pearls, his benefits will be endless". He also praised that "Zongcheng's teachings are integrated, and enlightenment is no different from Buddhism." "Don't break the blank, abandon the previous work after the rain. Therefore, I tried to practice chanting Buddha and decided to have a cage. Those who earnestly advise them to learn Taoism will be born in the western world. 」

Master Yin Guang also said, "If the most wonderful book of Doby Machine is" Ten Essentials of Pure Land ". And the book Tommy Yao Jie. It is the best and most wonderful note for Yi Yi. Since the Buddha said this sutra, let's push the note first. Even if the ancient Buddha dies again, he has a wide tongue and a long tongue, and no matter how heavy this sutra is, it cannot be surpassed. This statement can be said that the mountain is high and the heart is corresponding.

In the eighth year in Li Yong, the master fell ill. At that time, he wrote a letter to Qian Muzhai, saying, "I got two kinds of serious diseases this summer, and I am going to die. Qiu Ji actually reads Tibetan. Midwinter disease is even worse. You can't sit and lie down for seven days and seven nights. You can't eat or drink. There is no cure. No surgical decomposition. Just cry and call the name of Buddha and Bodhisattva. It's just a pure land for survival. Bound ordinary people hurt others. People are not necessarily profitable. I have suffered so much. On weekdays, I only exert my strength mentally. Not yet in force. The situation is only from the text. Life and death. Become bodhi. It's not easy. Who knows this truth except Zhang Shi? 」

The master was so ill that he couldn't sleep for seven days and nights that he had to cry and recite the Buddha's name and ask the Buddha for help, which was a blow to those who were conceited and slow.

In the 12th year of Qing Shunzhi (AD 1655), at noon on the 21st day of the first month, the master sat cross-legged on the rope bed, raised his hand to the west and died. When he was seven, he was 50 and 34 in Farah. Monks' summer is from the twelfth lunar month to Gui You Day, and from the first month of Yi You Chun to the first month of Yi Wei. Nine times out of ten, * * * is summer.

Water will eventually converge with the heart. Throughout his life, his ancestors went through hardships to protect the holy religion, establish the right path of Zen, teaching, law, metaphysics and purity, correct the disadvantages of Confucianism, Song and Ming, and save the world with kindness, ambition, tolerance and virtue. Finally, lead to the pure land and take this wheel of wishes to save all suffering beings. He was deeply compassionate and carried out from beginning to end, which made everyone who heard and saw it rise and was regarded as the ninth generation founder of Pure Land Sect by later generations.
