China Book Classification is a classification based on scientific classification and combined with the characteristics of books.

It divides themes into five basic categories and 22 major categories. The basic order is: Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Philosophy, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences and Comprehensive Books.
