Conventional zinc hydrometallurgy methods can be used. The oxidized ore is first treated in a fuming furnace, and the generated flue gas enters the conventional leaching, purification and electrolysis processes. However, compared with sulfide ore, oxide ore usually contains more organic matter, fluorine and chlorine, which may cause poor physical appearance of zinc sheet or make it difficult to peel off zinc sheet. High fluorine and chlorine are easy to corrode anode and cathode, so the open circuit problem of impurities must be considered.
