In the 1990s, the development plan was implemented, and it was encouraged to improve everyone's professional level based on personal development and by means of doctor's degree, so as to build a first-class teaching and research team with doctors as the main body, dedication and love for students, fruitful results, tolerance and harmony.

(2) Give priority to me and tap the potential to increase energy. Encourage existing teachers to improve their academic qualifications and level, and help them to go to famous universities at home and abroad for further study. Since the Tenth Five-Year Plan, the college has sent a young teacher abroad for more than half a year to overcome the financial difficulties. At present, four young teachers have completed their studies at Birmingham University, Leeds University and University of Wisconsin with remarkable achievements. Since 2000, 18 people have gone abroad, visited abroad or attended international conferences.

(3) Invite famous experts at home and abroad. First, hire Qi, Li Xueqin, Mark Yao and other 12 first-class scholars at home and abroad as part-time professors of the college to teach regularly; The second is to expand academic exchanges and train teachers. (4) Holding academic salons regularly to exchange internal academic and teaching issues is regular and standardized. The college holds an internal academic salon in the last week of each month. (5) Expand the academic backbone of the teaching staff and introduce famous scholars. Since the 1990s, the college has taken the lead in recruiting doctors, upgrading the level of teachers and improving the structure of academic relations. At the same time, well-known scholars were introduced, such as Professor Wang Yaping, director of the Institute of World Medieval Studies of Northeast Normal University, a national key discipline. Professor Liu Jinghua is a doctoral supervisor of Wuhan University. The college pays attention to the teaching and construction of basic courses, and the teachers of basic courses are directly appointed by the dean, including well-known scholars. Pay attention to the establishment of teaching models, such as Professor Ma Junmin, an outstanding teacher and Professor Li Haitao, who has worked in the front line of teaching for many years, and his teaching has been well received by teachers and students; Pay attention to curriculum reform, highlight the professional foundation of compulsory courses, form a series of elective courses, arrange them according to modules, and form a series, which has achieved remarkable results. Introduction to tourism

Nine of the 24 online courses have been completed, and 65,438+05 courses are under construction. In the 1990s, the college put forward the "Three Ones" teaching monitoring and evaluation system: giving every class well; Do a good job in each test paper; Instruct every graduation thesis. In order to make it regular and institutionalized, we have established a series of systems, including teaching standards, peer attendance system, student information officer feedback system, separation of teaching and examination system and reward and punishment mechanism, established professor committees and strengthened dynamic management.

Our college has also strengthened two extra-curricular links. The first is to introduce hundreds of classic books, encourage self-study after class, and combine the reading club formed by students voluntarily with the guidance of teachers. At the same time, invite experts to teach and broaden academic horizons. At present, the famous lecture "China and the World: Social, Economic and Cultural Lectures" is held, and 30 lectures are planned to be launched in the next two years, all of which are open to undergraduates.
