Sun Yat-sen College is located in the eastern suburb of Nanjing, the ancient capital, at the foot of Purple Mountain in Zhong Ling. Approved by Jiangsu Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Education 1998, it was invested and built by Nanjing Weiyuanzhou Industrial Co., Ltd. In 2002, according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education, the college was renamed zhongshan polytechnic.
There are 7 departments (Department of Economics, Department of Management, Department of Foreign Languages, Department of Journalism and Communication, Department of Information and Electronic Engineering, Department of Environment and Civil Engineering, Department of Electromechanical and Automobile Engineering), 3 colleges (Ai En International College, College of Art and Design, College of Continuing Education) and 1 Jiangning Campus. * * * provides more than 8,000 students in 60 majors.

The college covers a total area of 770 mu, with a building area of 6,543,800+4,000 square meters. The total assets of teaching instruments and equipment are 36.88 million yuan, and the school has 75 modern experimental training rooms. The library has 370,000 paper books and 600,000 e-books.

The college actively expands the road of international cooperation in running schools. In September, 20001,Ai En International College was established in cooperation with La Trobe University and North Melbourne Institute of Technology, becoming the first private university in Jiangsu to accept international students and run schools in cooperation with foreign countries. More than 400 students have gone to Australia, New Zealand, Britain, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia and other countries for further study. The college has also signed inter-school cooperation and exchange agreements with many universities such as Korea Giant Buddha University, Mokpo University of Science and Good Neighborhood University.
From June 5th to February, 2006, our college took the lead in passing the evaluation of the national talent training level in higher vocational colleges in Jiangsu, and achieved good results.
