First, based on the fundamentals, the essence of building a lamp cannot be lost.
To buy architectural lights, we must first make sure that they conform to the concept of architectural lights. Iron tire and iron crystalline glaze are the essential features of Jianzhan.
(1) Iron content in the tire: The markings of Jianzhan can only be well formed through the reaction of iron in the tire glaze. No iron tires, no buildings.
(2) Firing process: The marking of Jianzhan belongs to iron-based crystalline glaze, which needs high temperature and strong reduction. Not all kiln glazes are crystalline glaze. For example, Jun kiln is an opaque glaze with copper as colorant.
Second, eliminate defects.
After confirming that a lamp is a genuine kiln lamp, the next step is to observe it carefully and identify whether it is defective.
The defects of the station mainly include the following points:
① Fetal bone
Cracking and deformation
Because the fetal bone of Jianzhan has high iron content, it is easy to deform and crack at high temperature.
② Glaze surface
A. sticking kiln/board
Because the floor lamp is glazed and burned backwards, the glaze will flow downwards and gather. If the amount and fluidity of glaze are appropriate, glaze agglomeration and glaze crack will be formed. These two are signs of glaze water and fat, which belong to extra points.
B. Foaming and expansion
Lamp requires thick glaze and high temperature, so the glaze water may bubble and the lamp surface may bulge. Both of them are seriously injured, and the edges of blisters are still being cut, so they are not allowed to leave the factory.
C. trachoma
Because the tire bones of Jianzhan are made of soil with high iron content, the raw materials for tire making are slightly thicker than white porcelain and celadon, and a small amount of quartz sand may remain after elutriation and mud training. If unwashed quartz sand floats out occasionally, resulting in the glaze can not be attached to the tire smoothly, it will produce sand holes.
D. glaze shrinkage and glaze jumping
Glaze shrinkage is caused by insufficient temperature.
Glaze jumping is that some parts (usually in the form of dots) are not covered by glaze layer, which may be caused by dust sticking on the carcass and sand particles on the surface before glazing.
E. uneven color
In addition to the tire itself, there will be flaws in the glaze. The first thing you can see at a glance is uneven color. For example, the stripes are different in depth and the distribution is seriously asymmetrical.
Third, judge whether it is appropriate from the perspective of practicality and aesthetics.
After confirming whether it is a genuine kiln lamp or not and excluding defective lamps, it can be further screened from the perspective of practicality and aesthetics.
① Equipment type: If the size is appropriate and ergonomic, choose the one that fits your eyes. Beaded hat, rolled mouth, innovative shape, all have fans.
② Marking and glaze
The verbal truth seems to be only a few words, but in actual firing, it is extremely difficult for a building lamp to be perfect in all aspects. So choose according to the importance. Its priority is roughly as follows:
Glaze mottling performance > vitrification degree > dry mouth degree > modeling skill > porosity.
