On Penglai Taoist Temple
Many years ago, I went to Yantai in Weihai and didn't go to Penglai, which has always been a pity. After more than ten years, I finally came from Yantai to Penglai, the fairyland I yearned for.

Penglai is a county-level city under Yantai. This city is very small. The word "Dengzhou" can be seen everywhere when long-distance buses walk in the city. I immediately thought of "Wei Chi Sun Li, a soldier in Dengzhou, who was not sick" in Water Margin. It turns out that Dengzhou is Penglai after a long time of trouble!

Penglai Pavilion is one of the famous scenic spots in Shandong. It is said that the Eight Immortals crossed the sea from here. Another highlight of Penglai is the famous anti-Japanese soldier Qi Jiguang.

Penglai Pavilion was built in the Song Dynasty, which is located on the top of Ya Dan Mountain by the sea. At the foot of the mountain is a small ancient city called Penglai Watertown. To visit Penglai Pavilion, you must first enter the ancient city gate.

After entering the city gate, I found that Dengzhou yamen, which was built in the Ming Dynasty, was in the east of the city, where Qi Jiguang worked. The western half is the most complete existing ancient military port for practicing water warfare in Qi Jiguang, so it is called "Water City".

This is my first time to enter an old building. In front of the mansion is an open military field where I can practice riding and archery. The name of the official residence is "Japanese Capital Official Residence". The sculpture in front of the door is a messenger who just got off the horse and rushed to the yamen with information to indicate the emergency military situation of "the enemy will attack".

Fuya is a combination of quadrangles with three roads and five entrances. There is a quadrangle with an entrance in the middle, which is where Fuya lobby is located. There is a group of sculptures in the hall. Before Qi Jiguang's case, he was studying military intelligence with various ministries and military divisions, with Shandong's chief planner at the back. Other exhibition rooms in the courtyard include Qi Jiguang's "Yuanyang Array", which is quite interesting.

Since the Ming Dynasty, Japan has been a threat to China. The enemy's fighting capacity is very strong, and the steel fire of the Japanese knife has surpassed that of the Ming Dynasty at that time. Besides, the average team is not an opponent at all. Only Qi Jiguang, a genius, has developed a unique tactic for Yuanyang Array, which can keep the coastal areas safe for a while.

The Yuanyang array is a bit like Yue Fei's trick of breaking the kidnapper's horse with Jin Wushu, or Shui Bo Liangshan's trick of breaking Huyanzhuo's serial horse with Xu Ning's hook and sickle gun. The Yuanyang array consists of 10 people, two of whom are the most important, holding big bamboo poles with hooks to sweep the Japanese barbs. Although the Japanese are good at using knives, they are all short weapons, and there is nothing they can do when they encounter big bamboo. Then four people are armed with long weapons, and the other four people are armed with shields and short knives as guards. In addition, the mandarin duck arrays can overlap to form a series array. The enemy met the mandarin duck array and lost every battle. By June 1564, 65438+ 10, Japanese pirates were rarely seen in the whole southeast coast.

It can also be seen from the exhibition that there was once a Watergate connected with the sea in Shuicheng Military Port, which could be attacked in advance and defended in retreat.

Out of the yamen, there are many pavilions and courtyards at the foot of Ya Dan Mountain, mostly temples and Taoist temples, such as Mituo Temple and Lv Zu Temple. At the top of the hill is Penglai Pavilion, where there is a group of sculptures of the Eight Immortals, with Lv Dongbin in the middle. They are all drunk. On the seashore of Penglai Pavilion, there is an ancient lighthouse, which is the landmark building of Penglai Pavilion. When it really arrives, it is not high.

Turn around again, there is a room called "shelter", which is very famous. The sea breeze outside the pavilion is constant, and even the candles in the pavilion don't sway. The CCTV Science and Education Channel also specifically discussed why we can avoid the wind. When you really stand here, it is clear that it is just a corner of the nest wind.

Penglai Pavilion is bounded by Tianheng Mountain in the west. According to legend, after Liu Bang ruled the country, Tian Heng, a veteran of the State of Qi, led 500 people to retreat to Tian Hengshan and vowed not to surrender to Han. Tian Heng committed suicide after being coerced to Zhaofu, and all 500 people committed suicide when they heard the news. Xu Beihong once painted "Tian Heng 500 Scholars" to show his determination against aggression.

Tian Heng 500 scholar

After a cursory visit to Tian Hengshan, I realized that I missed at least two scenic spots, one is the Tian Heng plank road hanging by the sea, and the other is the dividing line between the Yellow Sea and the Bohai Sea in the northernmost part of the Shandong Peninsula. It is said that when standing there, you can see the obvious wonders of demarcation. The Bohai Sea in the west turns green and the Yellow Sea in the east turns yellow. Maybe that's how the Yellow Sea got its name.
