Langfang No.1 Middle School is a provincial key high school located in Anci District, Langfang City. 1977 was named as the first batch of key middle schools by the people's government of Hebei province in March; In 2008, it was awarded the title of "Beijing 2008 Olympic Education Model School".

Langfang No.1 Middle School is the earliest middle school in Langfang. Founded in 195 1, the school was renamed Anci County Junior High School, Langfang Middle School, Hebei Langfang Middle School and Langfang No.1 Middle School, and was renamed as "Langfang No.1 Middle School" in June of 1982. As of 20 1 1, Langfang No.1 Middle School has more than 60 classes and 4,000 students.

The school has successively accepted 3 key projects of the Ninth Five-Year Plan of the Provincial Education Commission and 8 municipal projects, and published 38 papers in national journals. After the resumption of the college entrance examination, more than 4,000 students entered the doors of institutions of higher learning.

In Olympic competitions such as mathematics, physics, English, composition and computer, 220 people won prizes at or above the provincial level, among which mathematics and chemistry won the first place in Hebei Province.

Hardware facilities

From 65438 to 0996, Langfang municipal government invested nearly 20 million yuan to build new scientific experimental building, office building, student dormitory and standard track and field, which improved the school's running conditions. Now the school building area is 35,000 square meters.

The school is equipped with a computer room and a voice classroom with visual function. The teaching equipment for physics, chemistry, acoustics, physical education and aesthetics has reached the national first-class equipment standard. This school has a library with 40,000 books. 1By the end of 1999, the campus closed-circuit television network was completed and put into use. The campus covers an area of 103000 square meters, which was named "Garden Unit" by the municipal government.
