Innovative consciousness and innovative ability are the soul of a nation's development and progress, and the permanent motive force of a country's prosperity. This paper expounds that the innovation consciousness and innovation ability of minors in the current basic education stage mainly depend on school training, while school education is limited in time and space, and extracurricular activities break through the limitations of time and space. This paper discusses the strategy of cultivating students' innovative consciousness and ability by using extracurricular activities from five aspects, and shows that extracurricular activities are an effective way to cultivate minors' innovative consciousness and ability.

Keywords: extracurricular activities to cultivate innovative consciousness and innovative ability strategy

Innovation is the soul of a nation's development and progress, and it is the permanent motive force of a country's prosperity. The innovative consciousness and ability of minor students are mainly cultivated by schools, but school education is limited by time and space, and classroom teaching alone is not enough. In order to break through the limitation of time and space and better improve students' innovative consciousness and ability, we must integrate off-campus educational resources, establish an effective mechanism to link extracurricular activities with school courses, and carry out extracurricular activities. Extracurricular activities are an important means and an effective way to improve students' innovative consciousness and ability. How to cultivate students' innovative consciousness and ability through extracurricular activities is a topic that many educators have been trying to explore in recent years. In teaching practice, the author explored how to cultivate students' innovative consciousness and ability through extracurricular activities, and achieved good results.

First, the necessity of extracurricular activities to cultivate students' innovative consciousness and ability

A strong sense of innovation is the premise of producing innovative ability. Only those who persistently pursue the unknown world and truth will learn, practice and create with a positive attitude, and practice is the key link to cultivate students' innovative consciousness and ability. Extracurricular activities have unique advantages in cultivating students' innovative consciousness and ability, and are the main positions for students' innovative practice. They are scientific, practical and exploratory, highlighting the main characteristics of "innovation". Carrying out extracurricular activities with rich content and various forms can consolidate and expand the content of classroom teaching, make up for the shortcomings of classroom teaching and promote students to be closer to nature and social life. It can not only enhance students' awareness of advocating science and pursuing true knowledge, but also improve their scientific research ability, especially cultivate their innovative spirit and practical ability. For example, students can attend space science lectures in the Science and Technology Museum; Experience the control of rocket launch; Participate in scientific and technological entertainment activities and scientific and technological small production on the popular science open day; During the student science and technology festival, various science and technology competitions are opportunities for students to broaden their horizons and give full play to their creative spirit. Not only the colorful popular science activities permeate the cultivation of students' innovative consciousness, but also the scientific and technological group activities focus on cultivating students' creativity with novel forms, interesting and vivid experiential and heuristic teaching.

Extracurricular activities provide students with opportunities to obtain the latest scientific and technological information. Extracurricular activities provide a stage for students to use their hands and brains and display their talents. Through vivid exploration and practical activities, students can gradually master scientific methods, form a scientific attitude of seeking truth from facts, fully display their intelligence, improve their literacy and ability unconsciously in activities, and lay a good foundation for their sustainable development. It can be seen that extracurricular activities are an effective way to cultivate students' innovative consciousness and ability.

Two, to carry out extracurricular activities to clear the purpose, clear the theme, according to local conditions.

Extracurricular activities must have a clear purpose and a distinct theme closely related to the purpose of the activity. For example, extracurricular activities with the theme of promoting scientific ideas, spreading scientific knowledge, popularizing practical technology, experiencing scientific processes and enlightening students' wisdom. The content of the topic can be a special activity around the theme of science memorial day, which has a wide range of mass and sociality, and some activities are worldwide, and their theme is a topic of common concern to all mankind. For example, Arbor Day in March 12, National Science and Technology Week in May, World Environment Day on June 5, and National Science Popularization Day at the end of June. Such as scientific and technological exploration and practical activities around the living environment and energy resources. Such activities can arouse great interest of teenagers and make them care about the economic and social development of their hometown from an early age.

In the process of organizing activities, the level of education and economic development in different regions is different, and the students and equipment conditions of each school are also different. Therefore, the development of extracurricular activities must proceed from the reality of the region and the unit and adapt to local conditions. Urban popular science bases and factories have good conditions for visiting and inspecting; In rural areas, extracurricular activities can be organized in combination with agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fisheries.

Third, establish and improve the mechanism of extracurricular activities to provide a solid guarantee for cultivating students' innovative consciousness and ability.

A perfect activity mechanism can not directly make students have creative ability, but it can promote the formation of students' innovative quality. The cultivation of students' innovative consciousness and ability is a systematic project, which requires the joint efforts of society, families and schools. Off-campus education is an important supplement and extension of on-campus education, and it is the link of family education and the support of social education. All kinds of education have their own advantages in the subject, content and method of education. Only when the educational forces are coordinated, the cultivation effect of students' innovative consciousness and ability is the greatest. Therefore, it is necessary to establish and improve the working mechanism of mutual cooperation and effective connection between school education and extracurricular activities, clarify the responsibilities and tasks of cultivating students' innovative consciousness and ability inside and outside the school, and realize reasonable complementarity and optimal efficiency.

In the aspect of education subject, school education undertakes the function of cultivating all students' innovative consciousness and ability, and off-campus education should provide every student with the opportunity to participate in off-campus activities. In terms of educational content and arrangement, the school has developed a series of school-based courses and teaching models to gradually realize the regularization, institutionalization and scientificization of extracurricular activities, which requires off-campus educational institutions and teachers to improve their ability to connect with school education, and strive to form the work function and ability to serve and guide the school to carry out high-quality extracurricular activities. According to the needs of the school, we design and develop extracurricular activities that are organically combined with school education and teaching, and reflect the effective connection with school education in expanding the construction of research-oriented courses, activity design and organization, and practical activity guidance.

Four, strengthen the construction of teachers, to create the necessary conditions for deepening extracurricular education activities.

It is very important to use what methods and means to cultivate students' innovative consciousness and ability in extracurricular activities. Extracurricular activities provide a good environment and a good objective foundation for cultivating students' innovative spirit and creativity. However, if teachers do not have innovative consciousness and spirit in the process of activities, no matter how novel the content is and how ideal the environment is, students' creativity will be stifled. Therefore, extracurricular activities call for creative teachers and counselors, especially teachers and counselors must have the pursuit of "endless learning". Only in this way can they constantly update their scientific knowledge structure and enable students to acquire living water of knowledge and literacy. Only by studying hard can you become a knowledgeable "research-oriented" teacher, organically combine scientific knowledge with creative thinking training, and carry out extracurricular education activities with the best methods and the latest means.

Fifth, to improve students' innovative consciousness and ability.

Face is the foundation, and point is the promotion. Without the extensive participation of face, there is no outstanding point. In the process of organizing students to carry out extracurricular activities, special attention is paid to the combination of point and surface, and its ultimate goal is to benefit every student in the school and comprehensively improve their innovative consciousness and ability.

The cultivation of innovative consciousness and innovative ability needs a strong innovative atmosphere, and the influence of the environment has a great impetus to students' learning, which often inadvertently arouses students' enthusiasm for participation. Therefore, in addition to students' normal study, we organize various extracurricular activities, carry out extracurricular activities in our spare time, influence more people with various group activities, let more children participate, and further improve their innovative consciousness and ability. For example, planting activity group, environmental protection guardian group, computer robot group, model airplane group, computer painting group ... hold activities regularly, students independently design activity plans, cooperate together, analyze problems encountered and actively seek solutions. Problems are solved in students' activities, and the joy of success inspires students to make continuous progress. Group activities greatly stimulated the participation of all students, and the strong atmosphere of extracurricular activities laid a solid foundation for the improvement of students' innovative ability. In recent years, we have organized various forms of extracurricular activities, expanded the influence of the activities, and infiltrated the activities into every student's life, so that most students have been exercised and improved their innovative consciousness and ability.
