Reflections on etiquette

Surrounded by clear springs and mountains, beautiful flowers are born in the valley.

This book describes the beautiful scenery of nature, but when writing my thesis on modern communication etiquette, I want to use it to express my feelings when I see a gentleman and lady who is modest and polite. It seems like a clear spring and a delicate flower, which gives people not only visual beauty, but also respect and affinity for their cultivation.

When I had to choose the second course among various elective courses, I decided that the first course I took was modern communication etiquette, which I heard when I was a freshman. At that time, in order to participate in the college career planning competition, I carefully studied the award-winning works left by my former seniors and sisters. In the first prize of the 2006 college students' career planning competition, the column of sophomore year's study plan clearly lists one item: seriously study modern communication etiquette and other disciplines to cultivate the etiquette quality and connotation that modern people should have. It was then that I began to understand etiquette and made it a compulsory course for elective courses.

Before the formal course selection, there was another thing that touched me a lot, that is, recruiting volunteers in the whole school before our college held the annual meeting of the National Association for Science and Technology. At that time, my classmates and I went to participate in the primary election of our International Trade College, and four students interviewed at the same time. The last senior specially called my name and told me to stand up. If I become a volunteer now and let me be a janitor, I will make a gesture that I think is the best. I put my legs together and put my hands in front of my waist. Then the senior who asked questions said yes, let me sit down. Then he said that I was the only one with my thigh on my leg during the interview, which didn't conform to the etiquette. He also said that if you are interested, you can take Mr. Man's modern communication etiquette class immediately. What Mr. Ren Man said is still good.

Later, the teacher mentioned an example in the lecture. It's about a classmate who went to the company for an interview after graduation, or a student he liked before was recommended by the teacher, but he was not accepted by the company. Later, the teacher asked him why he was not admitted. The quality of that student is very good! I didn't know at first, but I didn't know until I asked. I sat in the first half of the chair with my legs flat and my waist straight. I have questions and answers, and my language is fluent. The boss of the interview was also very satisfied with him. Then we talked for a long time, chatting and chatting, with the students' backs against the chairs. Chatting and chatting, his legs cocked up, and then chatting and chatting, his feet were placed on the coffee table in front of the boss, and then he was rejected by the boss. "So when you interview, there are many times when the interviewer is examining your various qualities, your usual bad habits, and these cross-legged habits that do not conform to the etiquette rules, which can easily expose your shortcomings and attitude towards your boss. For this boss, your legs will go up. Obviously, you don't care about others. How dare they hire you? " I remember what the teacher said at that time.

At that time, I linked these two things together and felt that paying attention to etiquette seemed like a spring rain, silent but significant; It also made me deeply realize that whether people's etiquette is comprehensive in the process of communication and cooperation not only reflects their image of cultivation and quality, but also directly affects their career and business success. At the same time, it is only after learning etiquette class that I really understand that good appearance is also part of etiquette. A person who tolerates his untidiness is unlikely to be popular. His clothes, makeup and jewelry should be suitable for the occasion. The phrase "make the best use of the situation" contains many details that need to be paid attention to, knowledge that needs to be learned, not to mention the matching skills and the scale of decoration. ...

With the development of the times, China has become increasingly prosperous, and China has become more and more integrated into the world environment, and gradually achieved integration with the world in all aspects. In this environment, when the problem of food and clothing has been solved, people's spiritual requirements are developing day by day. We are eager to seek a harmonious living environment full of friendship, sincerity, understanding and mutual assistance, and a warm space full of civilization, friendliness, sincerity and peace.

"Civilized etiquette is an important content of spiritual civilization, an external manifestation of a person's moral quality, and a yardstick to measure a person's education level. Civilization and etiquette education is not only the basic education for the formation of individual morality, quality and personality, but also the basic education for improving the moral quality of the whole nation, revitalizing the national spirit and building socialist spiritual civilization. " This is an evaluation of etiquette education in an article. As an individual, what I feel more deeply is the important role of etiquette as the external expression of a person's moral quality, and the value of her yardstick to measure a person's education.

As contemporary college students, in addition to learning knowledge, it is more important to learn how to be a man! Learning knowledge means applying knowledge to how to do things. I remember a teacher said that in a person's pursuit of success, the ability to do things only accounts for 20%, and 80% depends on your ability to be a man. There is an old saying: "herringbone is easy to write, but difficult for people to do." Before I went to college, my understanding of it was limited to the difficulty of survival. Living in the cruel social competition is "difficult for people to do".

At the beginning of entering the university, I think each of us has to go through a period of confusion and adaptation. For me, the initial feeling is that people around me have their own characteristics, and there are so many capable people around them, who are full of mature brilliance or wisdom. University is an era in which heroes are not judged by their achievements. In college, we began to pay attention to cultivating our own abilities, such as interpersonal skills, innovative thinking ability, information mastery ability, learning ability, self-reliance ability and so on.

After the military training, the election of the class Committee and the general branch of the student union is particularly obvious. As soon as I put down my books and papers, I began to prepare self-introduction materials and interviews. Everything is strange, novel and full of excitement. In the gradual work exchange, I found it difficult to be a man, not only a question of survival, but also a question of acceptance and being accepted. In the philosophical common sense of political science, I learned that man is the sum of various social relations, and everyone does not exist in isolation, but must exist in various social relations. After entering the university, we were liberated from the class-classmate relationship established on the basis of simple study in the past. When the class concept is relatively weak, there are more ways and time to meet more friends. How to straighten out these relationships involves the issue of social skills. We gradually realize that good interpersonal skills and good interpersonal relationships are necessary conditions for survival and development. I remember hearing that people lived by their parents before the age of twenty, by physical strength before the age of twenty to thirty, by experience from the age of thirty to forty, and by contacts after the age of forty.

Modern communication etiquette course, from a series of details often encountered in daily communication, such as sitting posture, standing posture, shaking hands, smiling, handing out business cards, shapes its own image, makes itself a respectful person, and achieves the effect of "respecting others, others will always respect". Establishing good interpersonal relationships not only in the university campus, but also in the future competitive society and shaping the space around us into a United and friendly environment will help us form and develop a healthy personality, realize the smooth development of our own career and live a harmonious and happy life.

In the feeling of "dealing with people is difficult", I often feel the indifference from the outside world. It is at this time that I learned to say "thank you" often, perhaps because of the influence of China's traditional culture and education for more than 20 years. Most of us are shy and introverted. We always keep our gratitude in our hearts and forget it over time. Especially for those we are familiar with, it is even more difficult for us to say "thank you", although they have done the most for us.

When I was looking up information, I found a story: When I went back to the hotel tonight, I saw six or seven people in blue overalls, carrying big toolkits, standing in the lobby studying the bulletin board. I thought the telecom or power workers were coming to work overtime at night. By the time I entered the hall, the gang had swarmed into the elevator. I took a few quick steps, but I still saw the elevator door closing. But obviously the people inside saw me coming, so someone pressed the elevator button and the door reopened. I think these workers are very polite. I hurried into the elevator and turned to say "thank you" to the person who pressed the button. He nodded to me, but said nothing. Then I heard these people talking to each other. They used to be Japanese. Their blue work clothes are wearing a small work card: "Mitsubishi Heavy Industries", which is estimated to be used for engineering installation. Six or seven Japanese people chatted, but there was no sound in the small elevator. The elevator stopped once, and two or three people went out first. They greet each other, say goodbye and feel close to each other. Of course, I didn't understand it, just guessing from their expressions and demeanor. The elevator stopped again and reached my floor. When I came out, three or four other people greeted me and said something with the same pronunciation as when I said goodbye to my partner before.

Yu Shiwei's story about the ritual of Japanese daily life didn't impress me at first, but when I just wrote "In fact, what I often feel is indifference from the outside world", I suddenly remembered this little story that was almost submerged in many materials I collected. What moved me was not "six or seven Japanese chatting, but" feeling very close ",which can make a stranger feel very close, which I can't do now. The teacher also talked about how her Japanese students are polite in class. That kind of courtesy is a kind of "respect" ceremony, and this kind of ceremony including "pro" may be a higher level! It is a state of internalizing etiquette, which makes people look amiable.

Emerson said, "Good behavior is more powerful than good appearance. Good behavior can bring more happiness than image and appearance. This is a beautiful art of life. " "Gentle and courteous, self-denial and devotion to duty" is China's traditional code of conduct.

On the basis of adhering to the essence of tradition, we should standardize ourselves with modern rational etiquette and make etiquette an indispensable virtue and ethics in our lives, which is the requirement for us to be a complete and qualified builder of modern society.

This is my paper on modern communication etiquette this year for your reference.
