Statistical employment direction and prospect paper
Learning any major will face the problem of employment. There are hot and unpopular majors, and mathematics and statistics are relatively unpopular. It is really not easy to find a job. I majored in statistics. There are 28 students in our class. I graduated in 2008. In the third year of high school, it was also very difficult for students to go to Beijing and other places to find jobs together. Later, the school rarely organized job fairs. But basically after graduation, everyone found a job, and people with relatively weak ability like me also found a job.

It's important that four years of college are not wasted.

Four years in college can be said to be the best time in a person's life, so you should live a full life. If you are utilitarian, you can learn more skills related to your future work, such as typing, driver's license, accounting certificate, CET-4 and CET-6, computer grade examination and so on. From the perspective of self-freedom, reading widely, insisting on writing and participating in various practical activities will also benefit people for life in the long run.

Don't be bound by majors when you are employed.

When you are employed, you don't necessarily engage in professional-related work. If you blindly pursue professional counterparts, you will only limit yourself. The university studies methods, and after learning methods, it can basically be competent for most basic jobs.

Employment direction of students majoring in mathematics and statistics

I take my classmates as an example to talk about the employment direction of graduates majoring in mathematics and statistics.

Engaged in accounting work, there is a particularly awesome senior in my class who was admitted to the CPA.

Engaged in the construction industry, I have two classmates engaged in construction-related work.

Working in computer programming is very technical and hard.

Engage in sales work

be engaged in educational work

Engaged in statistical related work

Self-employed, etc.

It can be said that it is 360 lines, and the line is the best.

Pay attention to cultivating ability at work.

After work, you will find that what you learn in school is often book knowledge, which will be further transformed into professional ability. Just like statistics, how to obtain data and carry out further data mining will often encounter some situations that we have never encountered in practical work, but this is only a professional ability.

In fact, the more important ability is that I personally think it is the following.

1, the ability to continuously acquire knowledge. Now, those born earlier in the 80s will also be in their 40s. Don't say they quit the stage of history. Acquiring knowledge is a lifetime thing.

2. Overcome the extreme side of personality. There is a saying in the rotten street that "you are old at the age of three, but you are old at the age of seven", which means that a person's personality has been stereotyped since childhood and it is difficult to change. Just like me, I was labeled as quiet. I don't think it's a bad thing that I don't like to talk, but I admit that my extreme personality has negative effects on myself, my family and my work. Some problems should also be overcome, such as obsessive-compulsive disorder, procrastination, phobia of choice, paranoia, anxiety, irritability, anger and so on.

3. Learn to communicate. The second reason why there are all kinds of negative emotions is that I have not learned to communicate well. Now many teachers are talking about communication, so I suggest you take more courses in this field.

Some points for attention when looking for a job

Resume is essential. Pay attention to it and seek truth from facts. If you only know one aspect of knowledge, don't write mastery, because it is really difficult to master.
