(1) Those who have a bachelor's degree, have been engaged in this profession for more than 5 years after obtaining the professional qualification certificate of psychological counselors, have been trained by senior psychological counselors to reach the required standard hours, have obtained graduation certificates, and have published more than 2 papers in national core academic journals;

(2) Obtained a master's degree in psychology, education and medicine, practiced in this major for more than half a year, received formal training from a senior psychological counselor, obtained a graduation certificate, and published more than 1 academic papers in national core academic journals;

(3) Those who have obtained doctor's degrees in psychology, education and medicine, received formal training of standard hours prescribed by senior psychological counselors, and obtained graduation (completion) certificates;

Appraisal at all levels of this major includes comprehensive examination of theoretical knowledge and assessment of practical ability.

(1) The theoretical knowledge comprehensive examination adopts a closed-book written examination, and the examination questions are randomly selected from the question bank and graded according to the standard answers. The test scores are based on a 100-point system, and more than 60 points are qualified.

(2) Psychological counselors' practical ability assessment adopts the way of expert group interview assessment, including: psychological assessment, case analysis, consultation scheme formulation and conversation skills. The scoring standard adopts a percentage system, and those who reach 60 points or above are qualified; The practical ability assessment of senior psychological counselors is conducted by comprehensive evaluation of expert groups. Candidates should submit personal performance materials (books, papers, patents, research certificates) and recommendation letters issued by the unit three months in advance.

(3) Those who pass the personal scores will be retained for 2 years.

(4) Personnel with professional titles in psychology, education and medicine who are engaged in clinical and teaching work of psychological counseling may not take the comprehensive examination of theoretical knowledge, and be recommended by the unit and directly submit personal performance data to the expert group to declare the qualification of senior psychological counselor, and the expert group will conduct comprehensive evaluation.
