abstract

Trehalose is a non-reducing disaccharide, which plays an important role in protecting bioactive substances. At present, it is widely used in the protection of machinery, food and biological nutrition. Liposome is a kind of spherical ultra-thin microcapsule with single layer, multi-layer or multi-layer, which is composed of lipid membrane formed by liposome double layer and is often used in pharmacy and cosmetics. The effect of trehalose on the yield of VC (vitamin C) liposomes was studied experimentally, and blank liposomes were prepared by thin film method. We wrapped VC solution containing trehalose in blank liposomes under ultrasonic conditions. The comparison of liposome yield under different trehalose concentrations showed that trehalose had no effect on liposome yield. Superoxide dismutase is used in cosmetics production, and the key problem in its application is to maintain its activity. The long-term experiment of adding trehalose and measuring its activity by NBT method for 4 weeks showed that the optimum conditions for maintaining SOD activity were 35℃, sealing and adding 5% trehalose.
