Graduation thesis depression
The key transition from high school to university brings many new challenges, which may overwhelm and sacrifice the mental health of many freshmen. Specifically, these students run away from home, new roommates, strange classes, and other important life events, coupled with continuous academic, social and economic pressures, are the main sources of stress. In addition, more than half of college students experience depression (Foer et al., 200 1), especially in the first few months of freshman year (Baker et al., 1985). Therefore, stress and depression are common two-way transition products when entering university, and are related to unhealthy behaviors (such as bad eating habits, smoking, sleep deprivation) and other negative consequences, such as inattention, inattention, study and class attendance. Hudd et al., 2000; Ramli and Provenzano in 2003; Patterson et al., 2004).
