Principles of literature retrieval:
There is not much literature.
Reference is also one of the bases for grading papers. References are not directly loaded at the end of the paper, but the specific citation position should be marked in the article.
When reading the paper, the judges will compare the references with the specific parts cited in the paper to see how you use the references.
If the judges click on the references and don't find this formula, or other teams use the same formula or method as you, but their quotations are correct, it will seriously affect your paper grade. So there is no need to collect references for quantity.
Pay attention to the relevance and timeliness of documents.
Quickly judge the relevance of cited documents from the method in the title of the paper. For example, if you are working on a data processing topic, it is reasonable for the words "data mining", "outlier" and "moment estimation" to appear in the references.
The closer the time is, the newer the method used. It is suggested that students try to quote papers in recent years. Of course, some classic methods can only quote papers with a long history. Don't worry about this. These classic papers are famous, and the judges and teachers must all know them.
Avoid pits.
HowNet and Baidu: I suggest not, not to mention the functions of retrieval and reading. From the quality of the paper alone, it is really a long story to know the papers on the Internet. You can even find a paper with only one or two pages!
Many articles retrieved by Baidu are in Chinese, so you should try to quote English references (note: if you have to quote Chinese references, you must translate them into English).
Secondly, the papers retrieved by Baidu may be linked to HowNet.
Suggested use: Google Academic, Google Academic not only has concise pages, but also has a very easy-to-use filtering function, which can help us quickly retrieve the articles we want.
